I saw many people buying phones at Huawei today in China. Huawei shop was full too. Apple sales will take a hit. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a few advantages over the iPhone. The iPhone finally has dual SIM card availability in China but it is half useless for the locals because on the Huawei they can install 2 WeChat apps and be able to have two app accounts where they can not do this on the iPhone. The other advantage is they can use the Huawei smartphone like a laptop where two different users can log in separately for privacy use. The iPhone does not allow this. People in China that have women snooping on their phones or men snooping on their phones find this privacy feature as an advantage. Then you have the price issue which for many is an issue as well. The cheaper iPhone XR does not offer MIMO 4x4 either.

Remember that Dual SIM with dual app use means you get two phones for the price of one as well. With the iPhone you can only receive calls on the second line and I believe iMessages as well but two app account use can not be used. Apple is still behind the Chinese when it comes to features and functions. The new dual SIM card feature is a half done feature for the Chinese which they had long ago. Another issue is they can easily replace battery without phone being locked like Apple’s iPhone unless you pay more at Apple shop. Not the case with Huawei or other local manufacturers. Higher price, more restrictions and less features mean lower sales numbers.

That's an Apple Store for sure (at least it's trying to be). Shameless.

You mean in some ways they copied Apple sort of like in some ways Apple copied Qualcomm and others ;)

The Huawei parts can be seen from the outside but the Apple part is more on the inside which many people don’t often see or know about ;)

One of many reasons Apple has many lawsuits against them now in many courts around the world. That said, I am an Apple fan and my main smartphone is an iPhone, main tablet is an iPad and main computer is a MacBook Pro. :) Each company has good and bad to it.

How did Apple copy Qualcomm? I’m not clear on what your rational is for writing Apple has many lawsuits around the world.
