Is this good? I imagine the rest of the market will go however these results are interpreted tomorrow.

It takes a few days for the suits to figure out what they are going to "think".

Forget the all time quarter revenue record. Find something to complain about. Oh yeah - Services missed the street estimate by a small amount - this is a big worry! /s

When customer growth starts slowing price increases start flowing. Customer sat and loyalty to Apple will keep churn well below industry averages.

The only concern is smartphone demand. They missed. With a recession most likely next year we’ll see if apple can continue to beat as consumer demand continues to soften.

If the market slumps, Apple is not immune. A benefit of having such a high stock value and reserves, means they will weather this better than most.

Macrumors forum will say "It’s the end of Apple".

Breaking News: Apple's doing pretty good.
FarceNews calls BS. Claims Apple is doomed, Tim should retire, innovation is an algorithm and the Earth is flat.

Fact is, Apple's growth is almost unstoppable. The more users, the more upgraders, the more services, the more adaptors, the more, the more, the more - it just keeps snowballing. Even with what I would label a slightly softer-than-normal cycle this year, they're still killing it. Seem poised for a pretty solid next decade. Maybe more?

Steve and team poured the walled garden foundation (to much grumbling). Tim and co. are building a metropolis atop that foundation (to substantially more grumbling). Sure, not every building is an architectural wonder (they can't all be). But in total, the city looks pretty darn good and (more importantly) appears to be thriving.

If services are bigger than Macs, than people have no reason to complain about hardware prices. Just cancel your Apple One Premium subscription and put that money towards a MaxBook Pro.

Why in the world would Apple lower prices when their products are clearly priced right? As evidenced by customer demand and purchases.
Apples products a clearly priced right for those consumers who participate in allowing apple this record breaking revenue. We both know apple products are not priced right for everyone of their potential and current customers.
For example...600,000+ iPhones manufactured and sold every single day of the year (on the average).

Apple raises prices to reflect increased product manufacturing costs, and increased wages and benefits to Apple employees.

Look friend’s, I’m more surprised by the fact that IPod at least went down swinging, love to see those numbers despite being the last time in forever it will be next to their cousins LOL RIP!!

While you as consumers might not like it, the fact is that it’s a CEOs job to find ways to increase revenue, minimize costs, increase margins, and grow. That doesn’t translate to decreased prices even though you think a company should try to just be profitable.

Macs will take a hit next quarter according to apple. Softening iPhone demand. Services raised prices. iPads as well. Wouldn’t be surprised to see apple have a miss next quarter. 2023 won’t be fun for them.

You're probably right. I would like to see where they sit in relation to their competitors next year. It could be worse. It could be Meta!

If Google increased by 6%, and Apple increased by 8%, imagine what Apple will do when they concentrate on ads.
