Let's remember, Apple is isn't just an advertising company like Google and Facebook who use their advertising monopoly money to play tech company. Or a Shopping monopoly Like Amazon, or a waning Monopoly like Microsoft. Apple is actually the only company that creates the best technology products top to bottom. Cranking out the most advanced and beautiful technology products like clockwork year after year. Their executive team has had no match.
For me Apple has been the top tier of the Mag 7 for over 20 years running now.

"We exited the December quarter with very lean channel inventory due to that staggering level of demand. We're in a supply chase mode to meet the very high levels of customer demand. We are current constrained and it is difficult to predict when supply and demand will balance the constraints."

Wow, still supply constrained today! Those 17s are hot.

Couldn’t agree more!

My IRA thanks you apple team.
I have some in my IRA but let's not act like the last 5 years haven't basically given us SPY like returns. Would've been better off with QQQ. Even BRKB is better. Thankfully those are larger positions for me, as well as when NVDA and AMD got sold off.

Looking at the growth graph, it's interesting to see the giant spikes in sales when each new iPhone or iPad is released. When looking at services and Mac sales, there aren't many spikes, just more of a slow and steady growth.

I still remember Steve Jobs getting so excited over the prospect of getting just 1% market share of phone sales. I bet there's no way he predicted the iPhone would one day make this much money for Apple. I sure didn't. I honestly thought iPhone would be just for the people who already liked Apple and that there would be a lot more competition.

I'm ready for my dividend. Bring on mid Feb. Scheduled to get a bump for the next four payouts at next board meeting in April (or was it May... Need to get that on my calendar). I really hope it's 2 pennies this year. The single penny increase has killed me the past two years.

… Apple posted revenue of $143.8 billion and net quarterly profit of $42.1 billion, or $2.84 per diluted share, compared to revenue of $124.3 billion and net quarterly profit of $36.3 billion, or $2.40 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter.
These numbers undisputably prove why Apple was forced to move to a subscription program for their productivity software.

Beleaguered!

I’m old enough to remember when they really were beleaguered. And, I’m old enough to remember when they weren’t beleaguered, but the doomsayers said they were beleaguered.

If I live as long as my mother (she’s 98 now and uses her iPhone, MacBook Air and iPad Air, and sends me texts by chatting to Siri), maybe they will be beleaguered once again, but I ain’t betting on it.

And, they’re the market underdog in pretty much every market they’re in. No one is going to touch Google in search. An enterprising CEO that doesn’t define success as “Get my app on the Apple App Store, and then…” can beat Apple. But, because that’s hard and “riding Apple’s coattails” is easy, it’s unlikely.

Winning.

Some perspective: iPhone revenue by itself was $3 billion higher than Samsung. ALL of Samsung, not just their mobile division.
Just Samsung Electronics I’m guessing?

But yeah, this is the kind of thing I reply with when people complain about Apple adding a new model or two. Companies like Samsung and Sony make literally everything, and some people want Apple to stick to making 2 iPhones, 2 laptops and 2 desktops lol

Will this satisfy the beast? Maybe Tim won't raise Mac prices over RAM

Maybe Tim will give us MORE base RAM so we can run AI on device and save Apple money. Right, Tim?

See, no one cares about AI, don't force it.

As you'll come to see in this next year, that is a vast oversimplification of what AI is, and how it will infiltrate every aspect of our lives.

It's not just about these interactive chatbots, but about embedded intelligence in ways that weren't possible before.

While I have my reservations about Apple's pursuit of subscription-based revenue, it's hard to ignore that their adherence to high quality, and not giving in to consumer demands, has resulted in yet another success story.
