Apple Reservation Site - "Service currently unavailable"

Anyone find the phone you want, listed as in stock on the reservation website only to get "This service is currently unavailable?" I have had this happen several times on different devices. Is this Apple's way of saying they are out of stock?

If anyone can please clarify I would appreciate it.
 
Probably just a ton of people making reservations tonight. Apple Stores are releasing new inventory at Midnight local time so people can buy online and make a reservation to pickup tomorrow.

Just FYI, for the last 2 nights all 3 Portland, OR stores had 7+'s available for pickup tomorrow at about 10pm. Just keep checking! I snagged one last night for pickup today! So don't necessarily wait until 12:01!

Also snagged a black 7plus in southern california at 3:13pm for pickup in the morning. I was getting the same "unavailable" message online, so i used the apple store app instead.

Did you go through your carrier though? I have T-Mobile and have to use the reservation system as the app asks for carrier information
 
was stating that same message for me most of the day yesterday. I lucked out and happened to be only a couple minutes away from a store that had stock of a mb plus 256gb....got over there and they were shocked that it was in stock...but reserved it for me and I walked out 20 minutes later happy as could be🙂

Was able to get a 32GB Black here in UT after trying for hours lol. I'm a happy camper 🙂 Selling my 7 and picking this up later today.

So.....its an AT&T model but I am buying it cash. It will work on T-Mobile correct? And they wont ask for any AT&T info?
