Apple today replenished its stock of certified refurbished iPhone 12 Pro models in the U.S. for the first time since early April. A variety of storage capacities and color options are available to choose from, with pricing starting at $759.

Apple's online refurbished store currently has refurbished iPhone 12 Pro models available with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage, with Gold, Silver, Graphite, and Pacific Blue color options. Orders placed today are estimated for delivery as early as next week, and in-store pickup is also an option at select Apple Store locations.

When the iPhone 12 Pro was first released in October 2020, pricing started at $999, meaning refurbished pricing is around 15% off. Apple stopped selling the iPhone 12 Pro brand new when the iPhone 13 Pro was released last year.

The refurbished iPhone 12 Pro models are all unlocked and SIM-free. All refurbished iPhones come with a new battery, a new outer shell, and a new white box that includes all manuals and a USB-C to Lightning cable. All refurbished iPhones are covered by Apple's standard one-year warranty and are eligible for extended AppleCare+ coverage.

Apple says its refurbished iPhones are thoroughly tested and cleaned, and in our view, they are virtually indistinguishable from brand new iPhones. One of the only notable differences with a certified refurbished iPhone is that it comes in a plainer box.

Key new features of the iPhone 12 Pro compared to the iPhone 11 Pro included a new design with flat edges, the A14 Bionic chip, 5G support, MagSafe, improved durability with the Ceramic Shield front cover, the LiDAR Scanner, and camera improvements.

Apple has yet to begin selling certified refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max models via its U.S. store.

Taking in consideration how to long the majority of users keep their phones these days, this is a solid deal. My sibling is coming to visit this summer and they have an iPhone 7. If they contribute some of the funds, I might help buy it for them. Pacific Blue and Graphite are the best colors from this lineup. I noticed Silver and Gold just lose their appeal after years of use.

October is months away. Why even bother buying this when new models will be out and there will be price drops across the board? Still unsure if I want to buy a Mini 13 or a 14 Pro, upgrading from an XR. A used mini will probably be $500 or so.
Some people like a deal. I had the 12 pro max and hated the size so I was debating the 13 mini or just a smaller 12 pro.

The mini came up on a deal and I got it. No regrets. I love this size. Never want a normal sized phone again.

That's a good news for some consumers.

I keep wanting to buy myself an iPhone 13 Pro, but then think, hmmm, I could take myself and my son for a 2 week all expenses holiday to Bali for that money. So I keep sticking with my SE2. The Bali trip is in planning.
I upgraded from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 13 Pro a few months ago and somewhat regret it. I admittedly don't use my phone a lot since I work from home but aside from the ProMotion display I really don't notice any difference. The camera quality is a bit better, but I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference for most photos compared to the iPhone 11's photos. Instead I should have just replaced the battery on my iPhone 11 for $99 and held on to it for a couple more years.

Go on the vacation!

That's exactly it. My life is spent in front of my shiny, new, expensive 16" M1P MBP 32GB/2TB, for work, study, and play. It's a well justified cost. For exactly that reason, everything that most people use a phone for, I use my laptop for, so my phone is almost entirely simply for calls.

Thus the major reason I'd want an iPhone Pro, is basically for the prestige and perception. Which, I might add, is not a trivial factor. As they say, clothes maketh the man. First impressions. And so on.

However, until I have the cash to splash on both the prestige AND the priceless experiences, I am holding onto the discipline to choose the experiences first. In 20 years, I won't remember that time I bought an iPhone Pro, but I'll always remember the wonderful trips I've taken with my son. One of our greatest life memories to this day was the overseas snowboarding holiday we went on. And yep, another one of those is in the planning too. And the iPhone Pro can wait.

Which deal for the 13 mini? I’m interested in getting one myself

And this isn't even a new phone, it's refurbished.

This is the worst deal I've ever heard of. There are 200 dollar Android phones that make this thing look like an antique. Wtf Apple?
No kidding. I have no idea why someone would buy a refurbished iPhone that’s 2 years old with only a 90 day warranty for a whopping 15% off the current price for the current generation iPhone, and possibly the next generation iPhone in about 2 months. This is a horrific “deal.”

That’s why I am keeping my iPhone 12 Pro Max another year.

Regarding your point about going on vacation, yep, I literally spent less for a round trip to Hawaii, taking 5 different planes from Germany

I broke even on selling my iPhone 12 Pro Max for a new iPhone 13 mini (I got the max before Covid and thought I’d be travelling and wanted the camera).

No regrets! The mini is perfect. Even if I travel this tiny thing would be fantastic.

Sorry for O.T.: Does anyone know if iPad Pro 12.9 2018 is available in store for replacement with Apple care? Because I have accessories for that model and 2 months ago in Apple store, they wanted to give me 2020, but it aren’t compatible because of the camera Bump. If it had been iPad Pro 2021 I would have accepted it without worries for the accessories just to have M1

The certified Apple refurbs have 1-year warranty, same as if you'd buy it brand new. And their refurbs are basically brand new, since they swap the housing, display and battery. It's even better than a brand new one because the refurbs are tested more thoroughly for issues.

Also the regular Joe isn't as invested as people in this forum, they're most likely not aware a new phone is coming out this September.

I'm still loving my 11. The main reason I bought it at the time was because I was becoming very limited by the 16GB storage in my 6S.

I doubt I'll spring for the 14 when it comes out. Most likely I'll wait until the 15, at which point my 6S will be retired and the 11 will become my backup/travelling-sim phone. I do wish one could (easily) buy dual-sim phones here as most of the providers I use still haven't worked out how to deal with e-sims.
