Can someone please tell me if the Apple part of say PC World has the same facilities as going to an Apple Store.

I can't get the Apple Store, but I can get to the Apple retail in PC World.

    Are their any differences?

    Thanks

I haven't been in a PC World in a couple of years, but the last time I was there I noticed that all the MacBook Pros they were selling at full-price were the previous generation model .

    What exactly are you after?

The staff in the in-store Apple concession are employed by Apple but they don't get newly released products as quick as the official Apple Stores and there's no Genius Bar for technical enquiries or warranty work.

I was going to order a new Mac Mini, but I wondered if it would be easier to go to a retail outlet rather than buying Mail Order as I did with my iPad3.

I am thinking about service should anything go wrong,if I buy mail order do I have to send it back via the mail for service or will the Apple Stores look at it.

    Thanks

It doesn't matter where you buy it from (as long as it's an authorised stockist), Apple Stores will carry out warranty work even if it was purchased abroad.

The Mac minis aren't in stock at Apple Stores yet much less at 3rd party retailers. Going to have to wait a bit.

Thanks for the replies, looks like ordering mail order will be the quickest way then.
Maybe it's a good thing I don't go to the Apple Store, probably buy far too much anyway.

Nearest Apple Store to me is Liverpool, but the nearest PC World is Aintree.
