Apple retail store "does not know" replacement fee for broken iPhone 4s?

Tried to call the apple retail store in Florida. Seems like they are clueless. A co worker of mine shattered her 4S front screen. It also won't turn on. It was about a 4 foot drop.

With the upcoming iPhone 5, usually Apple charges $199 for their current top of the line iphone out of warranty replacement due to water damage, broken screens etc.

But their second tier devices drop to $149.

With the iPhone 5 3 days away, they "don't know" if the price is $149 or $199 for a 4S replacement?

So does anyone "know" if the price is $149 vs. $199 during this transition period?

I am currently on hold with apple for the past 20 minutes so annoyed.

They aren't allowed to tell you over the phone. They want to see the phone in the store before they quote a price.

shouldnt come friday the price drop from 200 to 150 for the 4s? since the new 5 will be 200 to replace.
does this make the 4 100 to replace?
