Not that I have ever done this, but what would happen if you forgot to send back for example the plug or a cable with the iPad? Has anyone accidentally done this before and has Apple charged you or gave you the chance to return it?

So during the 2 weeks after initiating the return, can you just take it back to the physical store or do you have to return it via courier? Just wondering for future reference.

Technically, they could charge you the price of the charger.

With my in-person return, I only had the iPad and it did not affect the return value.

When I traded my iPad in, apple told me to only bring the iPad, no box, no charger. 😃

Where I am, I won‘t have 14 days to send in the item. After calling apple, they told me they would arrange TNT to pick up the item in 3-5 business days. At least I’ll have until after wwdc to decided on which size to keep.
