If I buy an iphone from three on contract and it has a defect (dead pixels etc) can I take it to the apple store for a replacement?

I've been seeing more and more threads where Apple turn people away directing them to seek resolution from where it was bought.

I have worked it out that three subsidise the phone by £186 on a 2 year contract.

That is a huge amount compared to buying the phone and doing a sim only deal with three

However, Three's returns and customer service reputation is poor.

I will contact the apple sore and see what the policy is.

thanks
