If it’s such blatant nonsense, then people will come to terms with it. He’s not your mouthpiece, and can host who he wants on his show. If people buy it, so be it. Maybe you can start your own show, hosting the “right” opinions, and refute him. When did you become the arbiter of truth?
Rogan's an idiot. The examples I gave are just some. I don't listen to him so I can't speak about many others. However, he's so blatanly stupid you don't have to be a genius to know this.

I suspect YouTube is crushing the podcast apps. Most major podcasts have a version on YouTube nowadays.

News I’ve seen says that YouTube is number one, by quite a margin, and Spotify is number two.

Apple hasn’t done jack squat with the podcast app in years, so it’s no surprise.

For most podcasts I would still prefer going to a podcast app. You can actually do more things listening to a show rather then watching a show.
This. YouTube might be great if you’re sitting at home, or at a desk, but it’s useless if you’re walking, driving, cooking, cleaning or exercising. I listen to podcast when I’m doing other things, and usually on the move. And I also think it’s a very good thing for content to not always be screen-based. I don’t need a screen to listen, but YouTube still puts the screen front-and-centre.

I can go either way on this. Some shows, depending on the guest or if there are visual aids associated with an episode, are really a lot better in a video format.

That's true though you don't need to watch the video. The YouTube-ification of podcasts has resulted in shows increasingly running video clips. This doesn't translate well to audio versions. Live streaming on YouTube is another competitive advantage as fans get the podcast there hours before it shows up in a podcast app. This puts more distance between YouTube and podcast apps. Apple could go big with video (recorded and streaming) in its News, Podcasts, and Stocks apps but it seems focused only on Apple TV for its video ambitions.

Interesting list. Have not heard about many of them. Will listen to some of them.

Grabbing popcorn 🍿 to wait for the comments about Joe Rogan being number 1.

(never listened myself, but from what I hear through the grapevine he’s very contentious and perhaps conspiratorial? Is that accurate?)
Only to people that have never listened to him.
