Apple today seeded a new version of OS X 10.7.2, termed Build 11C55, to developers. Notably, the build appears to fully incorporate iCloud functionality for the first time. The iCloud components had previously been included as a separate download to be installed on top of earlier OS X 10.7.2 builds.
OS X Lion Software Update 10.7.2 is an update to OS X Lion 10.7 and includes support for iCloud beta. Please refer to the seed note for more details and installation instructions.
The new build comes nine days after the previous seed of OS X 10.7.2 Build 11C48 with the associated iCloud beta 10.

Apple continues to list no known issues with the latest build, and asks developers to focus their testing on AddressBook, GraphicsDrivers, iCal, iChat, iCloud, Mac App Store, Mail, MobileMe, Safari, Spotlight, and Time Machine.

Just this past Friday, Apple seeded new developer builds of iTunes 10.5 and iWork for iOS as part of continued testing for iCloud compatibility. The company has also been seeding builds of iPhoto 9.2 to support the Photo Stream component of iCloud, but has not seeded a new iPhoto build since August 26th.

Apple is of course also continuing to seed iOS developers with builds of iOS 5 leading up to the public launch of the next-generation operating system for Apple's mobile devices. The current developer seed is iOS 5 beta 7, released on August 31st.

Trust me, I understand. I'm only enrolled in the iOS program. The day my photos are already in iPhoto when I get on my Mac is going to be a happy day for me. Same goes for my documents and what have you.

So invitations for media event tomorrow or next day right? Right?...... Right?

I WISH! I have been checking MacRumors and my twitter feed more than usual waiting for the announcement of just the invitation to the event! And then we have to wait for the actual event!

Speaking of which, what was the time period between when the invitations were sent out until the event last September?

The event was sep. 1 last year and the invitations went out a week before.

Unless you're actually going to the event there's not much reason to worry. Devs will get the final versions of iOS5 and 10.7.2 a week or two ahead of time anyway.

Not much longer though.

I don't know about that. I think they're saving "One More Thing" for the event, like Nuance, and developers won't get the GM of either builds until after that; if indeed that's true.

Are there any other improvements or bug fixes that are being included in 10.7.2 or is the focus solely on iCloud?

I am pretty sure bug fixes will be included and this a pretty big update it would really be pointless if there wasn't. Plus if you read the article closely it tells you which things the developers are looking at so that should tell you pretty much there will also be fixes.
