Do these clear cases turn yellow over time? I think only one current model offers the clear case.

No smart charging cases this year? I really hope so as that could be a deal breaker for me. I run my business off my iPhone (sometimes 14+ hours a day) the single battery wouldn’t be sufficient.

Pennies of plastic. So much margin it ain't even funny.

Accessories have always had a high margin for any tech manufacturer, not just Apple. I mean, look what they charge for an Apple Watch fluoroelastomer band , it starts at $50, when it probably costs them around $6/$7 with the packaging. Crazy, I know.

The lack of options for the base 11 model is pretty disappointing. No leather cases, and only black and white for the silicon one... :/
Hell, I'm just happy to see that the 11 has a silicone case option - with the XR, they only had the (harder plastic) clear case. When I needed a new phone, a while back, I bought an 8, and a strong factor in getting that over the XR was the lack of a silicone (thus grippy) official Apple case for the XR. The silicone case will help the 11, even if only in black and white.

I tend to prefer Native Union leather cases, not the Apple Store ones as those are rebranded Apple leather cases but the ones from their own website but due to the huge cut out it looks like most cases that doesn’t match the colour of the camera array will look horrible.

Seems like clear is the way to go but I hate how TPU feels.

Really need a battery case and disappointed they didn’t launch with the new phones.

Also they camera cutout looks really sloppy :(

I have never appreciated that the Apple made cases do not protect the bottom of the device. This is why I never buy Apple's cases. The last time I had one was on the iPhone 7 and I dropped the thing and had a little dent by the charging port.

There's no way of sugar coating that look.

The photos it takes need to be spectacular. Even without studio lighting.

Didn't they have a Forest Green leather case a year or two ago? I really wanted that one for the 11 Pro so I'm excited that they're bringing it back. I think I'm going to get a 256GB iPhone 11 Pro in Midnight Green with a Forest Green case.

I like many of the colors.

If the new matte backing is less slippy, it would be great to stop using casesl. Better for planet, wallet, thinner, etc.

Cant speak for the clear Apple cases since I’ve never owned one but I use a Totallee case and it’s phenomenal. You almost forget it’s even there because of how thin it is and hasn’t turned yellow on me. They also have a no-questions asked warrantee where if your case turns yellow they’ll send you a new one. You do have to pay $5 for the shipping, though.

I actually use and ESR bumper. Just a metal bumper that goes around the edge of the phone. Front and back are as naked as they come!

I used the bumpers for 2 years on my old 4S with no problem, and was disappointed that they didn't make the bumpers for the 5/5S series.

I'm probably not upgrading my XR this year, but I hope that the silicon cases for the 11 will fit on the XR. I didn't like the clear case (it just seemed ridiculously difficult to take off when I needed to clean under it, and, being clear, I wanted to do that like every day). I have a Tech 21 case on it now, but would love to go back to the slimness of the Apple silicon cases that I used on my 6S+.
