Apple Rolls Out New Cases for iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max

YES. I wanted an Apple clear case so bad for my XS Max. Excited to get one for the 11 Pro Max (still hate that name).

I buy those 10€ clear cases from the phone shop next door but they last just 4 to 6 months before they turn yellow or blue. Wonder if the Apple clear case for 30€ is worth buying if it stays clear for a year or two.

I looked into this (mostly on this site), a little while after the clear case for the XR - the reports suggested it was doing much better than 3rd party clear cases. It was a bit too early to have long-term numbers at that point.

(I was deciding between an 8 and a XR at the beginning of the year, to replace a failing 6 - one of the main strikes against the XR was the lack of a real Apple silicone case - I've had terrific success with those previouly - so I was taking a close look at the one case they do offer. I was satisfied it wouldn't especially discolor, but disturbed by reports of it being so hard to put on/take off - more opportunity for breaking/scratching - and I was concerned about the slick non-grippy nature of it. Apple was trying really hard to sell XR's six months ago, and I believe the lack of good case options from Apple - particularly a silicone case - was a factor for some, so I'm happy to see they have a couple now, even though they're only black and white. If I were making that same decision today, I'd probably go for an 11 and a black silicone case.)

Somewhat surprisingly, my leather case for iPhone 11 pro has just arrived in the post, after ordering it on Tuesday.
I was worried that the ‘saddle’ brown looked lighter than my previous one, and it’s definitely the case.

Even allowing for darkening over time, this is significantly lighter, and I don’t like it...
