Damn, so not only did you manage to get a day one pre-order, you got one 2 days before the actual release date! Green with envy here.

I don’t think that’s a problem! Lol But just a typo, you will never get it before 11/3. All shippers are made to keep till 11/3.
There have been numerous cases where iPhones were delivered a day or two early

Def a rumor and yes it is unheard of. It just doesn’t happen. Now could there be mistakes, sure but everybody knows not to deliver before.
Its not unheard of because it has happened before. Yes they were probably mistakes but it does indeed happen from time to time.
If you know someone at the local shipper, sure. But out of the millions that get into hands on launch day. The percentage of someone getting early has got to be less than 1%
Not necessarily, sometimes a package can slip through. Doesn't seem to difficult for that to happen.

ditto. i mean, 700 million iPhones have shipped. of course several have shipped early.
So yes... many times the tracking number from the carrier will have an early delivery date. then it gets held up at the final sorting facility. that is common. getting it delivered early is not.
yup, same here, the only reason I ordered this damn thing is so that I can prove to my bullies in my ghetto that I'm cooler than them
