I'm sure I've seen that iPhone marketing photo before, but under this headline with the curved image I suddenly saw it as evidence of a swollen battery...

I still use my Xs Max. For some reason I can get 2160p videos on YouTube using the Brave browser App.

On my 14 pro max, I can’t get higher than 360P using the same browser. Weird.

I still have my XS. It is one of the two iPhones I didn't sell after upgrade because of how reliable it is. I'm waiting for GRID to put out a kit so I can take it apart and mount it.

No doubt a great phone, built on the features of X. The gold colour was nice, wanted the gold to be on the X too. Think the 11 Pro series might be the next to be announced vintage.

I have a question. I had the Xs Max when it came out and have a 16 Pro Max now as I’m part of the iPhone Upgrade Program. The Xs, Xs Max and XR all use the A12 Bionic Chip and don’t support iOS 26

However, the iPad mini (5th generation) and iPad (8th Generation) also use the same A12 Bionic Chip and support iPadOS 26. And the 2nd generation Apple TV 4K also has the same chip and gets tvOS 26, which I’m running at the moment.
From what I can see online, these devices have only 3GB of RAM, along with the XR, but the Xs and Xs Max have 4GB so I’m puzzled by the lack of iOS 26 support.

I remember the launch film for this in the live keynote had two women having a lux vacation in Morocco.

One of them used Apple Pay and gave an endorphin style gasp of delight.

However on the on demand version that gasp had been removed.

…Presumably it was because of the ‘time well spent’ anti phone addiction stuff that had started up then.

Anyone else notice this? Or did I have a chat bot style hallucination?

I love vintage devices. Still use my iPods, and now my Xs that I use daily is one as well :D I think it is a great phone, one of the greatest after the original iPhone 2g.
