Is there an Applescript which will take whatever file(s) you pass to it, in batch, and update metaata to math filename ?

I have a who bunch of movies where the filename is connect, but the tags are not..

eg.. in VLC the tags display different.. and while i can go under metadata section and update the tag, it only does it "per file"

I"d like to have a simple script to do this, preferbly for video (.mp4) but i can adjust as needed for audio, or any file..

I do know a bit, but just need something to get me started, if possible .. Alternative, I wonder if EXIFTool: https://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ would work.

What tags are you talking about, and how/where will the script be getting the new information?

Attached.

Its mostly the "Title" tag not matching the name in Finder.. but need to match.

So ya, the script would update the title tag based on the filename

EXIFTool installed reads this, but i was looking similar for a script which would to it..
