Tell me about it! It actually got WORSE with 10.8.3!

I JUST relaunched Safari - 4 blog tabs open and another boring site. Between Safari and WebProcess they're already sucking up over 500MB.

For me on 10.8.3, with 5 tabs open including this page, it's already over 600 MB (Safari Web Content and Safari together). I don't know what these ******s Apple engineers are doing as it's has been ages but they can't seem to fix bugs in ML. I also noticed that with Auto Proxy Discovery option enable (I have to have it because of my Institute wants this), my rMBP becomes unresponsive for hours and I have to forcibly reboot the system. This is so ****ing annoying and I'm terribly disappointed that these bugs are still not fixed!

new build 12E33a has been released today.

If you get it from the mas and want to keep the installer then after it downloads from the mas but before installing the update go to /Library/Updates and find the file OSXUpd10.8.4Seed.pkg and copy it somewhere. You have to do this because after updating the installer deletes itself!

Dear god, 600MB!

What IS the world coming to.

PS: Just because your on a white page does not mean it should be using next to no memory.

Don't think I've ever complained about so called 'memory leaks'.
