I am ready for iOS 11.1.

I'm ready for macOS 11. Oh wait. That's just a pipe dream.
Well all now know that much more about this particular iOS 10.3 beta 5 release.iOS 23 will have dark mode![]()
For those that will ask:
• We don't know about battery life
• No Dark mode
• Safari isn't snappier
(Hopefully, this is the last one before a public release, I love the speed improvements of this release so far)
And better battery lifeiOS 23 will have dark mode![]()
My main worry is added memory pressure on the iPhone 6+ Due to the new APFS filesystem. I'm guessing a new filesystem will require more memory that the old one which worked on the older, slower and far more memory constrained devices.
The 6+ is already BY FAR the slowest iphone from 5s and up due to the underpowered hardware - specifically memory usage driving the Full HD screen and only being equipped with 1Gb was a HUGE mistake from apple.
I've been using 10.3 beta since the release and CarPlay is definitely a major improvement. The switcher is great and it's a lot more stable. I'd also say that APFS has improved speed on everything so it's up there on my excited for list for me as well.most exciting thing to me about 10.3 is the app switcher in CarPlay.
I'm on the 6 Plus and 10.3 finally speeds things up. I'm no longer wanting to curse at it all the time and I no longer want to upgrade as it easily accomplishes what I want it to do quickly. APFS is probably the reason. It's just a much more efficient file system. Boot times and upgrade times are twice as fast. That's just one small area it's improved and that's with it still running the debug code/logging everything. My main worry is added memory pressure on the iPhone 6+ Due to the new APFS filesystem. Anyone tried 10.3 on 6+ yet and can comment on performance?
I feel this way too.. I was hoping it would be much bigger like iOS 9.3, and include as many bug fixes and performance improvements as 9.3 did. I mean 10.3 has improved performance but it is still not perfect, unlike 9.3 which made everything freaking amazing (on my iPhone 6), yet there still are minor problems on my 7 Plus..Am I the only one who finds it to be so odd how we are now on the fifth beta yet there's never anything new to talk about?
In fact, every time MR posts about a new beta they always just include the same video that shows off beta ONE because there's nothing else to ever mention or show, even though MR says that "iOS 10.3 is a major update".
Of course, I understand it includes a new filesystem, which is a major feature by itself and is something you can't really see, but still...
At least roll out the AppStore improvements soon!

Well, there are various new and changed things, which is more or less typical for an x.y release (often enough there isn't even that much new or changed things in those). As betas go on for a release there's definitely an expectation of things changing less and less, so it would actually be something that isn't expected or all that good to have something new pop up in a later beta that should be more stable as things are close to release.Am I the only one who finds it to be so odd how we are now on the fifth beta yet there's never anything new to talk about?

My friend has also experienced the speed enhancements. 10.3 makes the phone quite a lot faster. I don't know why you're so reluctant to believe what someone says.Sounds very interesting - one might argue it cant possibly become any slower - but I'm a little reluctant to just take your word for it. I'll wait to see if other 6+ users will confirm your experience.
Are you meaning to say that this was just released to public beta testers?Dropped for public beta
