Has there been any improvement in Voice Control dictation?

I'm a writer. I use an iMac 2017 21.5 18,1 8GB RAM 2.3 Dual Core i5 with 1TB HDD. Since Catalina I get the spinning beach ball thing on a regular basis. my machine is clean - just writing and editing software. The harddrive is 95% free. Will the new beta improve things or do I need to increase RAM and change to SSD?

New informations?
I contacted Apple support yesterday, send information to engineering about the external monitor issue.

By Monday or Tuesday I believe I'll have a response, and hopefully it's an issue they can resolve, or at least give a workaround for.

Any word on stability with the 16"?

I've basically had to unplug and replug my 5k LG monitor every time I've wanted to use it.

I just installed 10.15.4, went and did a bunch of stuff around the house, and came back and the monitor fired right up so so far so good there. I'll check back with any updates but my god I've never hated an Apple product as much as the 16" so far. It has been an unstable mess of a machine, particularly with an external monitor.

I can confirm roughly 2-2.5 watts less of Radeon High Side wattage when using both the Macbook's screen and the external monitor and temperatures are not spiking or requiring the fans to ramp up.

Great news.
