I can report after updating numerous times and ways I got the watches to update middle when it said verifying and powering down. One I had to force restart at the Apple logo at 20 min and came back updated.

And best part is the battery drain bug is alive and well on the beta 5 for Apple Watch. Seriously some awful software from Apple. Sucks the new ultra android watch and new fold 9 pro aren’t out till end of month. May not be perfect but I’m sure the devices have more stable software than what Apple will have for the next 4-6 months.

You’re using beta software and complaining about stability? Log off and go wait for the android watch to come out. We’ll be playing the worlds smallest violin for your departure

I’m saying never in my life has Apple pushed 5 betas out and allowed the battery life to be at 3-4 hours and the watch is dead.

I guess you have an appreciation for 💩. And I’ll leave you to that as a loyal fanboy.

Some expect at a minimum what Apple has done in the past. Sliding backwards repeatedly isn’t what Apple is normal. But you also probably think Tim Cook is a products guy as well. 😂

Yep it is and turning it off and on didn't help either :D It's still the same with the new beta.
Maybe I misunderstood the issue, but when that setting is turned on, the Watch is supposed to only charge to about 80% and then stop charging

Hm - maybe i misunderstood it then. Before it was set that it will charge to 80% but when it's close to your usual wake up routine, it would then charge to full.

Edit - I just checked, and that's what the help text under the optimised charging still so in my opinion that's (now) bugged.

There’s two different features actually: Optimized Battery Charging is the one that charges to 80%, and finishes charging to 100% shortly before your usual wake up time. That feature is always active and can’t be turned off, on the Ultra 2 at least.

Optimized Charge Limit is a different feature, that prevents the Watch from charging past about 80% at all, and that’s the one that can be toggled on or off on in Settings. (Source: I have an Ultra 2 as well and have been using Optimized Charge Limit ever since it I got it)

Doesn’t appear as though the battery drain is any better…, still! Like how long Apple do you have to go before your **** works. Like this is 2.5 months in almost and it still runs like trash on the watch. Almost thought my watches were bricked. Really awful beta software currently toy

Runs fine on my watch, every beta has installed fine too, sounds like its a your watch problem.
