I had the same issues.. I tried resetting the watch, but didn't work. Hope this beta helps.

It wasn't removed, they added the toggle for it in the Apple Watch settings. It was disabled by default I'm beta 4 because it wasn't a use featured by many people

It's not 'missing' it was removed because messages can be open very quickly now, and there is a complication for it and it can be added to the dock.
I installed the Beta v1-5 and the beta 3 was it for me. Basically everything after 3 including 3 has been a daily driver. Sure there are times when weird things happen and that makes me crack up.
No no no! This won't do. I use swipe up for glances to control my music playing while I work. Now I'll have to press a button then select the app? That's one extra step. That's not an improvement.

Performed multiple restores on both devices, set up as new watch and phone, and installed profile again each time. No luck. AppleCare support and beta support providing no recourse.
Probably shouldn't dismiss a reported bug as "not general" when you have a sample size of 1. Mine hasn't paired properly to my phone for a full week either.
I agree that it's much more convenient to swipe up to get the 'Now Playing' - I do this all the time.
This is only a beta, though. I expect when WatchOS is finalized, Music will be put into the Control Center just like in iOS 10, so we can keep swiping up like we're used to.
EDIT: I noticed that Apple Music is a complication on the Apple Watch. I didn't notice if it was before? I just added that as one of my complications, and boom - I can now see music, without doing any swiping at all! Plus, I can touch the complication to go in and change the music.
However, it seems to leave music, I can't just swipe, I need to press the crown button. So, not as nice.

Have you tried blowing out the profile and reinstalling it following restarts in between?
I've been using the Apple Watch unlock on my Mac all day today... and it got me thinking...
A 'Killer App' feature of the Apple Watch would be if I never had to enter passwords for anything ever again! Any website I go to on my Mac could be logged into automatically by the Apple Watch, an ATM wouldn't need my card nor password, just my Apple Watch. No car keys, no house keys.... I'm beginning to see the future!

they made it allowable in watchOS 3 to use the native apps as a complication. this wasn't an option in OS 2. i use messages a lot on the watch while at work so i made it a complication for quick access.
Just curious if it's just me, or have others noticed the weather complication always displays --°? If I go into Weather on both my phone and watch, it has data. I've restarted both. Just doesn't seem to want to display.
My weather complication works just fine. It started at --° for the first 5 seconds, then it's always displayed the temperature since.
Interesting. I did some playing around this morning, and it looks like my watch can display any city except "Current Location". If I delete all the cities in Weather I get --, but I can statically select one and it's fine. I'll just have to make sure I change city when I travel.
Hopefully Beta 6 fixes that.
