I'm not surprised. Posting a full changelog means that you have to 1.) acknowledge that a problem existed and 2.) anticipate that customers think (rightly or wrongly) WOW there are so many bugs!

Apple has no public bug tracker and the feedback system is a black hole, so no way they're going to acknowledge every bug at release.

Exactly. They keep pushing the illusion of the “it just works”, while they should acknowledge that they ruined their operating systems over the years and now “it just doesn’t work”.

Apple has no public bug tracker and the feedback system is a black hole, so no way they're going to acknowledge every bug at release.

Those are SDK developer notes, not a list of issues/bug fixes. Feedback system is looked at by staff, sometimes if its something they particularly need input on, you'll see your instance being linked to other instances. Even get a message to call them to give more details. Most of the time you'll see no indication that it's been looked at.

It’s probably too early for 16 public. I don’t think they will release 15.6 beta 5 public and then the next day 16 public beta. They will release 15.6 to the general user base first and then probably 16 the next week.

No it isn't, 16 beta 2 all was released to devs 13 days ago, tomorrow July 6th will be 2 weeks. Give 1 or 2 days later you see a PB.

I do hope so, but I honestly doubt it. Probably RC first. But maybe and hopefully PB tomorrow.

Hopefully it's a solid release since it will be the last release for a LOT of iPhones out there (6s/6s Plus/7/7 Plus). I hope Apple doesn't both something up just to push people to upgrade. 15.5 has been quite solid.

Interestingly I noticed the first problems for me in this beta cycle. I'm seeing various windows not restore after minimizing to the dock (including slack, spotify). Running internal screen + ext 4k, 2016 mbp. restarting the app addressed, but it does feel as if something isn't quite right...
