They should be synced aside from AI changes unique to 18.1
The listings for 18.1 betas have disappeared on Apple site some I assume the 18.1 beta 2 will arrive today also, as the 18.0 beta 5 just seeded earlier.

Hmmm I don’t know. That’s rare specially when iOS 18.1 beta came out last week usually a 2 weeker. And till will that fix the watch os issue. But I promise I’m 100% hoping it’s today.
 
Wait I got it to work. I installed the beta 5 profile and now I’m able to download Apple Watch beta 5

Just install the iOS 18 beta 5 profile from the dev center then you can update the watch. Then just remove the profile from your phone.

Actually never mind you don’t have to even remove the profile once it updates the watch the profile is gone and still shows iOS 18.1

As someone from the EU, you can switch your region to USA and set your language to English US to get Apple Intelligence. It’s not geo-blocked thankfully and it doesn’t care about your Apple ID’s country setting.

So those of us who opted into 18.1 won't get all the latest fixes/features until they do another 18.1 update?

Correct for the iPad. It's relatively easy to convince it to sign-up for Apple Intelligence, just needs a VPN to a non-EU location (plus setting the region, language, etc.)

It's a different matter on an iPhone when you're in the EU. I've tried just about everything and it refuses to allow the sign-up (actually it shouldn't require me to sign-up again because I already did on my iPad).

    For C-based languages, the clang static analyzer might note if the object is leaked. No source code changes are required, but they are encouraged to fix the leak.
    For Swift, this changes the return type of these functions from Unmanaged<> to the actual CF type returned, which will require a source change to fix when compiling with newer SDKs. However, Swift programs compiled with older SDKs will continue to work on the new OSes, though the returned CF type object will continue to leak as it did prior to this change. (126154509)

Allowing navigation destination modifiers in lazy containers had two significant costs: (1) app navigation state could be undefined if a navigationDestination had been scrolled off screen (2) The navigation system had to explore all list contents to ensure navigation destinations remained up to date.   • Fixed: The order of ShapeStyle compositing modifiers is now honored with respect to shadows. Previously in fill(style.blendMode(…).shadow(…)) the added blend mode would also apply to the shadow, that is no longer the case. The blend mode modifier must be added after the shadow modifier to affect it. As a consequence, the fill and any shadows added can now use different blend modes. Similar rules apply to ShapeStyle.opacity() except that outer opacity() modifiers multiply with inner modifiers, e.g. in fill(style.opacity(0.5).shadow(…).opacity(0.5)) the shadow is drawn with 50% opacity (of whatever style draws) and style itself draws with 25% opacity.
