Was happening too the last few betas. So far, so good with this beta. Was being dumb this weekend where it wouldn't trigger CP when I plugged it in. And of course it was when we were out of our local area.Since I have been on beta, when using carplay, if I say answer a call, or do anything else, and go back to the map, the map is a black screen. I have to exit the map again and go into another app, then back, and then it will usually show the map. Hoping this last beta fixes that.
Yeah, around October of 2014..did Apple forget about macOS?
Me too. Odd.Downloaded a iPadOS 5th public beta and installed as iPadOS 16.1 beta 1 (20B5027f) !!
How awesome!
iPadOS will not release as 16.0. The official release will be delayed and it will be 16.1.Me too. Odd.
So does this mean when iPadOS 16.0 is released officially, it won't update us automatically since it'll think we're already on 16.1?
Years ago.did Apple forget about macOS?
Speaking of CarPlay, since the iOS 16 betas, has anyone noticed when interacting with Siri, her output is in the “phone” output rather than the normal stereo output? For instance, on iOS 15, if I were to trigger Siri while listening to a podcast, the voice would be crystal clear and on par with the audio that I was already listening to.CarPlay seems to launch much more quickly.
Public beta is pretty safei'd like to download the beta on my 12 mini but idk about that. I hate waiting.
Which other than HSBC give issues? I know M&T and WF have always worked. It got funny with WF FaceID once this beta, but I was able to get in with the PW, and they must have fixed it pretty quickly because it worked again shortly after.Public beta is pretty safe
Just make sure your banking app is updated to work well on it
I just noticed this for the first time (I think ever) yesterday, but I am running iOS 15.6.1. I would describe it as Siri's response being in AM when it's normally FM, if you know what I mean. So maybe not an iOS 16 bug, but a Siri glitch instead.Speaking of CarPlay, since the iOS 16 betas, has anyone noticed when interacting with Siri, her output is in the “phone” output rather than the normal stereo output? Since iOS 16, her voice sounds muddy, as if I’m on a phone call with her. This was the old behavior in the early days of CarPlay. It was certainly remedied at some point, but I do tend to recall it being an issue during the iOS 15 beta as well. Anyways, just wondering if that is corrected yet for the latest beta.
Oh weird, I don't remember it on live ever. Good news though: it seems to be fixed on the latest ios 16 public beta.I just noticed this for the first time (I think ever) yesterday, but I am running iOS 15.6.1. No. The basic iPad isn't (at least for now), and the Mini isn't M1 either.Um… aren’t all iPads on Apple Silicon? (Yes I understand you mean the M1)
You misunderstood the question. He’s correct in that every iPad ever has used apple silicon. The original was on A4No. The basic iPad isn't (at least for now), and the Mini isn't M1 either.
