I no longer get T-Mobile Wifi Calling enabled in the menubar. Reset network settings, still the same.
Same thing here. It must be something in the new carrier settings.

For a first beta, I have to say that 11.3 is so far the smoothest, most fluid feeling version of the software I have ever experienced.
Maybe Apple can come out with "iOS Professional" version where is leaves out all this emoji, Animoji, iMessage stickers apps, etc.
Doesn't really seem like anything like that was rumored.Any word on the possible dark mode that was rumored for 11.3?
I believe that's just called not using those things.Maybe Apple can come out with "iOS Professional" version where is leaves out all this emoji, Animoji, iMessage stickers apps, etc.
I got the screen asking if I want to use iCloud messages to keep messages in the cloud. I clicked ok and saw a progress bar going across backing things up.
However, now going into iCloud settings - the Messages slider is in the off position

Very smooth here too (on my X)
Won’t now until those functions are implemented in a later release.Does anyone know if the battery insights & controls apply to iPads? I hope so.
Never mind, it showed up.I no longer get T-Mobile Wifi Calling enabled in the menubar. Reset network settings, still the same.
Errrrr. How would you implement 3D Touch without hardware support?
And while you can achieve some level of face tracking with a camera, which every iPhone since the 4 has had, the X adds infra-red and can thus make a 3D model of your face, making the tracking far more accurate. Hence Animoji working far better.
Apple has a habit of doing things right or not doing them at all. Allowing Animojis on phones that don’t have FaceID would absolutely wind up being a lower quality, less responsive experience and limit what Animoji can/should be on good hardware.Eh same reason Force Touch only came to 6S (because “hardware” limited it from the 6). Sure it probably could be used on other devices (like the app you mentioned) but Apple has always had a habit of limiting features to the newest devices because: business and marketing.
Although they should stop this silly game where there needs to be a major new version every year.
