Apple today seeded the first beta of an upcoming macOS Mojave 10.14.3 update to developers, five days after releasing macOS Mojave 10.14.2, which addressed an issue with external displays and included other bug fixes.

The new macOS Mojave 10.14.3 beta can be downloaded through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences after the proper profile has been installed from Apple's Developer Center.

We don't yet know what improvements the second update to macOS Mojave will bring, but it is likely to include bug fixes and performance improvements for issues that weren't able to be addressed in the macOS 10.14.2 update.

If and when we discover what's new in the 10.14.3 beta, we'll update this post.

hope they fix some of if not all of the audio issues for the 2018 MBP ...i think none of us wants to wait until the next big macOS update to have a fix

Kexd eating CPU time....

Forced quit, still 24%, time for a reboot.....

Nope

Nope
Crap

Found it, when I check the box to activate Kextd goes berserk.
If the interval (slider) is on its lowest the CPU eats 70%, the higher the interval time the
lower the CPU load, 4% minimum.
Update: Downloaded version 1.9.3 (had 1.9.2) issue resolved.

Every time I take update something doesn't work. Tired of this nonsense . I think developers need an update.

Would really love to know if the bug below is fixed. Was hoping that 10.14.2 fixed it, but no joy.

Exchange account keeps deleting
That's funny, I had an Exchange account I hadn't had on my Mac in 2 years, magically reappear after doing a clean install into Mojave. It must have somehow synced something into iCloud, but it was the most bizarre damn thing. Ive deleted it again since and haven't seen it come back.

Also I am having the sleep/battery drain issue too, on 10.14.0 it actually drained my MBP completely overnight while not charging it, but it only did that once. Since then I will lost maybe 10-20% overnight if I leave it not on the charger.

sorry but thats not correct. Quite the other way around. Apple has refused to provide driver signing for 10.14.x to nVidia. While there are questions about if those drivers fully support Metal2 which is required for 10.14, it right now has been said by nVidia its on apples side. that implies there are new drivers, that they support metal2 and its apple thats just being stubborn in a corp pissing match rather than supporting their cash paying customers. Since nV has access to the same beta builds, there is no reason to think they haven't kept their drivers updated. At one point you'd expect that there would be beta nV drivers to go along with the OS to allow wider testing before general release.

When Nvidia release them. This has nothing to do with macOS betas.

Hopefully the battery drain bug is fixed.

Does it fix the 2 minute delay from cold boot when using external USB SSD as a boot drive?

Does it support DisplayPort MST for daisy chaining multiple monitors and using MST hubs, or is Apple still trying to force people to buy Thunderbolt monitors?

When will the Console application, which has been crippled since 10.12 Sierra, progress past beta development? Instead of handing off MacOS applications to summer interns who have never used a Mac before, Apple should put development back in the hands of senior engineers.

Public beta build...10.14.3 Beta 1.....is 18D21c
I've been doing the Mojave public betas since the beginning. Software Update can't see this newest one. It still says 'This Mac is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Programme' (and I even re-installed the PublicBetaAccessUtility, just to be sure). But when it checks for new software, it always comes back with 'Your Mac is up to date -- macOS Mojave Beta 10.14.2' (i.e., the last 10.14.2b4 update). Just sayin'

hi I recently contacted Nvidia as recent as just a few days ago and asked them about Mojave web drivers, specifically if the company "Nvidia" is working on Mojave web driver development, there it been a lot of speculation and some people claimed that Nvidia wasn't even working on web drivers because of that famous comment a few months ago" if apple allow us" well it seems some things has changed since that comment,

the first response I had from Nvidia was "we can't make any comment about web drivers for Mojave" so I went at it again, and explained the situation I also requested to speak to a supervisor since the person was only an employee and maybe had orders not to make any comment, I explained how much money I have spent on Nvidia products and also the disappointment on having to wait without having any info about it, so I asked them to please tell me the truth if we are going to have web drivers or not, because been waiting for months and not only that is not fair but also that is no way to threat their costumers,

well I have a response from Nvidia the next day via email and they told me that they are working with apple to release web drivers for Mojave and they will release them when they are ready

this also put at end to the speculation that web drivers are already done but apple is blocking nvidia and nvidia can't release the web drivers

maybe it was true a few months ago that apple put a roadblock on Nvidia
but is not true anymore

simply the web drivers are still not done
apple didn't informed nvidia about their plans, apple was working in metal 2 and nvidia never follow the beta testing

so they "Nvidia" figured it was as simple as changing the system build info in one their kexts like they always do

both companies are guilty

apple only worked for the nvidia cards that they include in their Macs
and is up to nvidia to provide web drivers for the card they sell
that is not apple responsibility
I can come back later and post the email as proof that this is not a made up story
cheers
[doublepost=1544698661][/doublepost]here it is just like a promise
I really hope that Nvidia includes the RTX series on those drivers
as long as I can use my RTX card on Mojave, I don't care if I have to wait up to 10.14.6 or 10.15
