That is a high build number.
Yes it is. I thought it might be wrong until I actually installed it. It's not wrong:

I hope the release are out, soon - waiting for updates to the Mail extension API that will hopefully help GPGtools to work again in Apple Mail. The only thing that keeps me from upgrading.

So, how's Sonoma on Apple Silicon after the 14.1 update?
I'm still on Ventura, but I was thinking of formatting the system and installing Sonoma.

Thanks.

Music appears completely broken... I've added a bunch of music this morning on my phone but not showing on the Mac

it broke Apple Music for me

Same here. When opening it up it kicked me out, removed all cloud files and now when i go to reenable cloud library i get "Genius results can’t be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (18006)." and thats it. So if you use Apple Music i wouldnt update.

So interestingly, updating iOS to 17.2 and leaving macOS on 14.1 also breaks Apple Music with the big previously mentioned. In addition i also lost my library on iPad an iPhone, however they have come back after re-enabling cloud music library. The mac however persists with the error in the screenshot

Came here to say this, but I'm running stable releases. After the update all my playlists are gone from my Mac Mini, but not on my Macbook iPad and iPhone. After logging out and in, I have the same Genius error on my Mac Mini, but every other device is fine and syncs OK.

LE: Oh, forgot to say: AM on the Web is fine

Where did you log out at? Settings -> iCloud?

After upgrade to sonoma marking on audio path in Audacity is lagged. I mark with mouse but marking is visible with 0,5 second delay. Any ideas how to solve it? Audacity is in newest version

Thanks for the reminder, I don't want to lose my music library, it would drive me crazy.

Music returned yesterday and working fine, didnt need to do anything. Presumably server-side issue they have fixed

This update killed my OBS & EOS Webcam Utility Pro, and I cannot use external cameras. I wonder if any of you had this issue? Downgrading is kinda complex ;)

Try this first

How to restore legacy video device support in macOS Sonoma

Restoring legacy webcam support will allow your older device to work, but the green privacy indicator won't appear when it is in use.
  1. Shut down your Mac.
  2. Start up in Recovery Mode. This is done on Apple Silicon Macs by holding down the power button and on Intel Macs by pressing Command-R while turning the Mac on.
  3. Click the Options button, then Continue.
  4. Select the Utilities menu, then Terminal
  5. Enter the command: system-override legacy-camera-plugins-without-sw-camera-indication=on
  6. Press Return and complete any additional steps if prompted.
  7. Quite Terminal
  8. Go to the Apple menu and select Restart.
After the Mac restarts, a warning will appear in System Settings. Go to Privacy &. Security and select Camera.
If legacy video support has been successfully restored, a warning about the green dot not appearing in the menu bar will appear. That means your outdated webcam should now work on your Mac running macOS Sonoma 14.1.

Damn, thanks, man! If that works, I owe you lunch! Im trying it now.

Update: It worked after a little extra step - I had to switch off HDD encryption using terminal and I am happy to report that my Canon camera works again!! Thanks so much for the tip @Realityck
