Apple today seeded the first beta of an upcoming macOS Ventura 13.2 update to developers for testing purposes, with the beta coming one day after the release of macOS Ventura 13.1 and more than a month after the official launch of macOS Ventura.

Registered developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center and after the appropriate profile is installed, betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings.

We don't yet know what new features or changes are included in macOS Ventura 13.2, but should we find anything in the beta, we'll update this article.

13.3? Also, why must there be an individual post for each device? I really clutters up the site and doesn’t add any value. You’re just reaching for content. Just wait until everything is released and then list it as a single post (Mac, iPhone, tv, watch,… betas out now!). You’ll probably commit fewer typos, too, with your copy paste!
individual post in order to generate more clicks thus more revenue

Good stuff! Thank you for providing the notes. They are very helpful :)

Is Ventura currently stable? I'm still back on Monterey. Not one to jump in feet first...
I've been using it for weeks on M1 24" iMac and 16" M1 Max MBP entire beta cycle. I seen some odd issues crop up for a few people not sure if it's anything common against multiple parties. Just make sure you have a ASR backup using CCC or Time Machine to an external volume beforehand.

This 13.2 beta 1 so far doesn't perform any different compared to RC IMHO. Thats about a hour and half. :D

Ventura on Intel-based Macbook Pro, what are user's experience with this?

If by stable you mean it doesn’t crash and burn and destroy your data then it’s been stable since day one. You read too many horror stories from people who don't what they are talking about. Of course there are always glitches, bugs, none of which are show stoppers. Go to the Apple Discussion Forums and take a look at the macOS section to see people sill griping about supposed bugs in previous versions, ALL of them. And of course, each new upgrade, update, patch is declared to be the worst ever to be foisted on poor unsuspecting Apple users.

Wonder if there will be any modifications to Stage Manager going forward.

I just went from Monterey to Ventura 13.1 and trying out Stage Manager I kind of like the idea but the dramatic, relatively slow animations happening when switching applications is just too much I think – just like I find the animations for going in and out of full screen (green pill) to be too drawn out.

Having this happen every time an app switch occurs is just not something I can get used to compared to the instant switch of using cmd-tab.

Stage Manager is back to off for me again.

Have Ventura installed on my machine at work.
The system preferences are such an abomination that I refuse to install Ventura onto any computer I own.

As Apple moves more and more into noddy features and makes the computer less useable I am pushed harder toward Linux.

I am already starting to play wth Raspberry Pi units to replace my ageing OSX servers.

Any luck with reminders syncing with phone? And any luck with the photos app recognising duplicates?

Woo! Ventura 13.2 is what has been reported on those Geekbench scores for the unreleased Macs. Will be interesting to see how quickly the beta progresses. Was about 49 days from the first 13.1 beta to its release. 7 weeks from now we'll be in February, which is when the M2 Pro/Max MacBooks are rumored.

One step closer to seeing new hardware!

Did you tried "reduce motion" in the accessibility settings? I agree the animations are very excessives but this fix it.

Thanks – was going to say that I've tried that but in my opinion that removes too much of the animations. 🤷‍♂️

I think animations make the user experience feel more organic, but they should be done in a way that it still makes things feel fast and responsive while also not being overly dramatic.

In iOS I have no complaints really – it feels fast and fluid animation wise.

My Mac Studio is still on 12.6.2 so I can retrieve data off of my three Drobo raid devices. My M1 MBAir and 14" MBPro are my beta devices so have just installed the fully "current" version of Ventura. I think the 14" will stay on "released" versions and the MBAir will continue to be my beta device. My 16" Intel MBPro is still on 12.6.2 for the Drobo access.

May end up having to get Parallels again to keep 12.6.2 accessible going forward as a subsystem. But Parallels needs to be reliable on 13.x before I jump back in.

My 11" M1 iPad and iPad mini v6 were both beta devices, but the 11" will stay on released versions from now on.

My Ultra watch stays on released versions and not beats.
