I am for this, but not just iOS 14.8.0, iOS 14.8.1, Apple needs to re-sign iOS 6.1.3/iOS 6.1.4, iOS 8.4.1, iOS 9.3.5, iOS 10.3.3, iOS 12.4.1 so older devices that are still working can be back to a useable state [optimum performance for the hardware]
Optimum performance but not optimal functionality.

I’ve been on iOS 15 for about a week and half now and have lost 2% points of battery health in that same time. This is not normal.

The phone gets to boiling hot temps at least twice a day. Before that I was on iOS 14.4 and never got hot once.

Cmon Apple, work on this stuff before adding any new features. Copy-paste code from 14.4 if you have to ??

How are they in a roll when they still haven't fixed performance problems which many users have
Poor guy reckons "on a roll" means "fixed all bugs".
Fear not - our segment of WHAT DO THEY MEAN is back with another episode.

"On a roll" definition: On a streak of success or intense activity.

Given how frequently Apple has been releasing betas of late - it could be portrayed as "intense activity".

As always - thank you for tuning in.

I don't have much hope that Apple will ever fix the touchscreen.

Since iOS 15, many people complain about the touchscreen missing inputs and I THINK every iPhone with iOS 15 is affected but most people don't realize it. Have to tap on an icon/element twice so often and gestures often fail too. It's just annoying.

Touchscreen and performance is just bad. Looks like there is no quality control anymore

Android is calling your name. BRINKYYYYYYYY I WANT TO GIVE YOU A VIRUSSSS.

Jump ship bro :)

After 8 years with Android and no virus, I recently switched to iOS because the new Pixel is too big.

Would like to stay but they need to fix that asap.

Edit: According to a user on Reddit, they fixed that but let's wait until it's confirmed.

Get your phone checked out. Mine’s fine.

I believe you that you think it’s fine but right now everything speaks for a software bug.

My iPhone 13 Pro is just a few weeks old, older iPhones with iOS 15 are affected by it too and there is not a single report in 3 months where a software reset or a replacement fixed that issue.
So I assume every iPhone with iOS 15 is affected but some people just don’t notice it.
Will test the units in our local shop today and report back.

I just don’t want to roll the dice, get a replacement that actually has issues like green tint and still have issues with the touchscreen.

I’ve had it happen but very rarely. Tbh there are a few other problems which are more consistent and more obvious, so they are the ones that grab my (and maybe others) attention right now.

That’s true and could be the reason why we don’t have more complaints about that.
Had some really annoying bugs before but right now it’s the only thing that bothers me. Everything else runs just fine.

While I normally jump on betas as soon as they drop, I think I may wait until after xmas, unless b2 drops before then.

I decided to update my iPhone 6s from iOS 13.4 to iOS 15.3 Developer Beta 1 to see if it will be enough to fix the issue of it either restarting or shutting down completely when disconnecting from the charger while having a charge between 1 to 99 percent... If it still does not correct it, I guess it is a hardware issue and I will have to put up with its performance while on iOS 15.x [and have it sent for repair]

My main device which is iPhone 7 Plus will remain on iOS 14.8 unless iOS 14.8.1 becomes signed for update again... Since iOS 15.2 was released iOS 14.8.1 is no longer available for OTA download...

I would go with 15.2. If it’s still happening, try a reset first but it sounds like hardware problem. Maybe change the charger

It looks like it's a hardware issue with iPhone 6s... I use the same charger to charge the iPhone 7 Plus and I sometimes disconnect it without being charged at 100% but it does not restart or shut down...

The iPhone 6s used to be my main phone but now that I have iPhone 7 Plus, I will just leave it as is and maybe keep it at iOS 15.3 Developer Beta 1 turned off and have it repaired sometime next year...

I have the touch registration issue with my 13 Pro Max. Usually happen when I try to wake the phone by touching the screen. I was not having the issue when 15.0, started happening, for me, in 15.1 and now 15.2.

Issues seem to be inconsistent on who encounters. Some are having touch registration issue but not everyone. The storage calculation bug is happening to some users but not all. I haven’t experienced the storage calculation issue.
