It's obviously your choice, but I had my "biggest" problems with 16.1 and 16.2 (plus the short lived 16.1.1) iPhone 14 Pro Max purchased on launch day. There have been security issues you should be aware of.

I often wonder how much the so called security issues actually matter. I have never had a problem in all of the time I’ve had phones and most of my phones have been Android phones. But you all have convinced me and I will updated. Why tempt fate, right?

As far as problems…. I have not had a single issue with the version my phone is on. My phone has operated perfectly, at least as far as I can tell.

Agreed.

I’m always amazed at the high minded “I never install updates unless necessary” folks, where necessary updates completely overlooks security issues.
