You can turn reduce motion on.

Other than that, the animation is faster, which is plenty fast for me considering I thought it was fine before.

Someone said that zoom animation is different, so I installed this only to see that isnt changed at all. I do not want to turn reduce motion off. But I would like to see speedy animations.

The zoom animation is ever so slightly faster, certainly noticeable on iPad.

Hi everyone

Today it's my first post and I'm not english, so I'm sorry for my explanation...

In the following video you can check how the animation speed is exactly the same between iOS 7.04 vs 7.1:

Apart of this, nobody has complained about the issue with the notification centre and "all day events" in calendar app. The all day events (calendar) are missing in the notification centre and I think it's incredible how Apple has removed this feature in iOS 7.

I would thank a lot if any developer reports this issue in the following web:

https://bugreport.apple.com/

There is a lot of posts in the official apple forums discussing about this "missing feature" and I hope with the new 7.1 Apple would give back to us, but it has not been possible...

Here you can check the discussions:

At least, iOS 7.1 has improved the performance of the iPhone 4 (almost unusable with iOS 7), you can see it in this video:

Thanks in advance

They'd better make iPad keyboard translucent. The current keyboard is ugly enough, the dark one will be even more ugly. But translucent keyboard with dark theme is nice...

Yeah... I gotta say though, for the iPad iOS 7 isn't great... For my Space grey iPhone, the black keyboard will look cool :) I thought the OS was too light anyway...

I would be happy if all they did was return the .com button to the keyboard. That's such a simple key, but is a big time saver. Why did they get rid of it?

because the location of the '.com' in it's place was too big and there were too many times when you were simply searching for something in the combo url/search bar that you would tap on the .com key instead of a space.

every dev that I talked to about the beta always mentioned this, I logged it as a problem as well as so many other devs.

----------

What I really want to see is a UI update for the Apple TV. I really hope we don't have to wait till iOS 8 for one.

you want iOS7 on AppleTV? hopefully we don't end up with dropped frames there too.

----------

Anyone heard if ios7.1 fixes the web-app issues yet? I've been all over apple about it but to no avail yet. Anyone else having issues with web-apps?

what kind of problems/issues?

Entering multitasking is now also affected by the reduced motion toggle found in settings.

I find it ridiculous that Apple is providing these 'options'. The great things about iOS and OS X was that you didn't have to play around with the settings, it 'just worked' because they got it right the first time.

Federighi and Ive are very talented people, but they are way in over their heads with iOS. They need to step back and allow a qualified person to take control.

No more "Trust this computer"

Just to note I haven't got any more multiple "trust this computer" warnings for computers I've already trusted. Hopefully the back of them from 7.1 onwards.

It still works without any of these options--the options are for accessibility reasons, not customization or something like that, as they are there for people who have trouble seeing something or making something out or something else of that nature. It all still "just works", but the new design used in iOS 7 is somewhat less approachable as far as usability in general, and in particular for some groups of people. That is probably a flaw of some sort, but perhaps the price of using a new design that's somewhat radically different than before. That said, yeah, perhaps they didn't really need to go as far as they did with the new design and still be able to keep more usability from the get-go.

Issues are; websites that work perfectly in "full safari" malfunction in various way when you add them to the home screen. JavaScript issues (appears some events don't fire). Odd problem with text inputs that the screen doesn't "recenter" on the input and instead the keyboard just appears over the top of the inputs. For a demo try: https://mmmobile.abhow.com/test.html

Not on iPad unfortunately.

When you swipe up on screen the multitasking UI just "appears" (no transition animation at all) and the icons very quickly fade in beneath the app previews ... so quick you need to look for them.
That sounds like the zooming animation isn't being used in that case, which seems to be what was asked about.

Two other bugs found in this beta:

Strobing of the backlight at the bottom of the lock-screen and in control centre when auto-brightness is set to off and 100%. 99% fine, 100% minor strobing...weird.

The other one:
In music app (now playing) swipe up for control centre, change the song that's playing, close control centre again and the music app doesn't reflect change of song until reopened.

Could the new "Use black keyboard"-option be an indication of a new future..."Use black theme" ?

Feels wierd that apple would use ONLY black keyboard on i white theme.

Someone?
