I've just had a compete freeze up on the iPad Air after clicking on Facebook directly after an unlock. Had to hard power-down.

Voice dictation appears much snappier and more accurate. I don't use it at all but it's nice to see that they're improving it. It's not as good as Android's - this requires a data connection and it doesn't appear in real-time - but it's improving.

Now, time for a swype keyboard. If Apple gets there, I'll shut up about my fantasy of using an Android phone as my daily driver.

The rotation is fluid but if you have the dark keyboard setting enabled, I do occasionally notice a quick changeover from the white keyboard to the black one. It's slight but it's noticeable, and now I can't not see it.

Woah, that was really strange. I restarted it a few times. Only now it's working. Thanks for the reminder, though.

No way! Screen rotation is now smooth?

Ok, when do we get iOS 7.1 for the public? The buggy animations were one or my main gripes...

Is this a new dialog for TouchID? Been a couple of hours and I've already forgotten what 7.0.4 used to look like :p

Swiftkey would be awesome!

Videos (example TED) playing in a App will now play live in multitasking. Also same with the camera.

Is that new!?

Apple Maps appears snappier. Still not ideal but not terrible. Apple could shut me up a bit if they offered offline maps options. But better, more intelligent search and public transit are no longer 'nice-to-haves'. They're essentials.

I really hope that by the time it's released to the public the bug where the icons shift/stretch when returning to the home screen has gone. A few people say that this has been fixed but it's still there on my iPhone 5s (and my girlfriend's) and it's really annoying!

That is new. Nice find. Kinda cool, I suppose.

Nope, that's been around. Annoying little page.

I meant the wording which has been changed a little bit to make it clearer to 5s users I guess...why has this been done and annoying bugs not been fixed!!

Awe, what a lovely story with no relevance whatsoever to this thread. And what a coincidence that it just happened on the day of release of a new beta...
Anyway, I will be looking forward to all the required bug fixes that iOS7 needs. A bit like ALL versions of iOS needed bug fixes and corrections.I am sure we will see faster updates these days, as we have Mr. Cook in charge now. And it won't be long before iOS7 is almost perfect. I really envy people like you, who are just happy with living in the past. It is such an easy life with few worries....

"And it won't be long before iOS7 is almost perfect."

Sure, maybe when iOS8 is released.

Sorry knew this wasn't proper English as I was typing.

It zooms the app out as you pinch slowly disappearing and getting smaller and transparent. There are no icons around it just your background.

When it has completely died the app icons refill in like when you first unlock the device.

so this means on ipad finally the close gesture is usable and not broken anymore??????
