Agreed. Apple's innovation has devolved to the point of stressing novelty features. The pipeline is empty.

Agreed. The entire team needs to be working on a dark mode. It’s so easy to change up hardware. Putting in OLED screens was so easy - get Samsung to make them. But handling the software component to make it useful and reduce battery consumption is something they couldn’t be bothered with.

I will say they finally made the password manager useful.

I wish we still had Windows phone as an option. It would have kept them on their toes. Some of us will never use Android because those people have no respect for user data. But Windows phone on that new foldable Samsung phone coming out next year and it would have been all high end/early adopter users jumping ship.

My phone also got stuck while updating, but a forced reset did the trick.

Now I have issues with taking pictures with in-app camera, like Whatsapp and Instagram. I can no longer take pictures within the app... I can do it when I reboot the phone, but after a while it stops working. I have the camera view, but the capture button is not doing anything.

After using beta 4 for a day, I've seen more issues than the previous build. The only great thing is my contacts finally sync on my AW S3. The animations seem to be a little slower and definitely need some improvements, they even stutter sometimes if too much is going on (usually have a few apps running in the background). The iMessage keyboard needs some more tweaking since it's pretty buggy. It doesn't disappear and the animation to bring it up kind of twitches, the iMessage apps also don't disappear when you enable the emoji keyboard. In the iMessage conversation list view, contact pictures don't show for group conversations. It's just grey circles until you open the actual conversation.

Also, yes I submitted the bugs in the feedback app. Apple has actually been writing back for a few of the bugs I've reported, too.

When I scroll down the mobile data list of apps, it keeps refreshing and taking me back to the top on each refresh (every 3 seconds)

Otherwise this is a really solid beta in my opinion.

Anyone know when B4 will be available to the public? I’m still on 3 and the watch contact thing bothers me pretty bad.

Public Beta 3 = Developer Beta 4. The public betas are (usually!) the same build as the developer betas but always labelled as one version lower because developer beta 1 doesn't get released as a public beta.
