Hey guys. Is it possible that a beta can cause battery health to be misread? When I was on 11.4 my MBP 2015 had 83% battery health on Coconut battery, but since getting the beta 2 weeks ago its plummeted to 65%. Is this normal?

I made a promise to never connect my external drive to my M1 MacBook Pro after it killed the previous one. Will get one specifically for it.

Not to be mean but Apple is an organization. I don’t think they would have incorrect grammar. But I do sort of trust you because it has the “donoreply.”

There was no grammar mistakes. There was however a spelling error. Organisations are made up of lots of people and people individually can make mistakes. I and u are close on the keyboard. If mistakes weren't made just because it's a large organisation we wouldn't have any bugs in the first place... Or that iTunes social network"Ping", haha

Fooling around here, but the screenshot is genuine. You can see the person below my original post had the same thing :)

Will this be the one that finally fixes Bluetooth constantly disconnecting/lagging, a Big Sur introduced bug that never occurred in Catalina. And yes, I downgraded to Catalina just to check. Bluetooth works flawlessly in Catalina.

Still running my 16 MBP on Catalina. Is it safe to upgrade? I remember hearing about battery charging issues and numerous other bugs.

Will probably wait for 11.5 just to be safe.

I would hold off until the official macOS 11.5 release if you’ve waited this long. The last two betas have been very good to me.

Can anyone say if this has fixed the bug with the chrome engine and hardware acceleration?

Really hoping thats fixed as it seems to effect any chrome based apps like electron apps. Vscode, discord etc as well as the Edge browser which I use.

I was having major issues with MS Teams in Betas 1-3, every time I had a video call I would get major slowdowns due to the spin dump process kicking in for MS Teams Desktop (Electron app I believe)....

Happy to say that so far on this Beta I am no longer seeing this and my Mac seems to be back to full speed, which is great !

Multiple Display issues when nightshift is enabled and my 2021 iMac goes into display off / conservation mode ... when I wake it up, one screen is still in nightshift and the other not ... a nuisance but highly replicable bug
