Apple today seeded the fourth beta of an upcoming watchOS 7.6 update to developers for testing purposes, with the new beta coming two weeks after the release of the third beta.

To install the ‌watchOS 7.6 beta, developers need to download the proper configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center. Once the profile is in place, the watchOS beta can be downloaded through the dedicated ‌Apple Watch‌ app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update.

To update to the new software, the ‌Apple Watch‌ needs to have 50 percent battery life, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be in range of the ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌‌‌‌‌.

We don't know what's included in the watchOS 7.6 update, and no new features were discovered in the first three betas.

Software Update in Watch app says Beta 4 is available. 125MB.

I’ve tried to download it and it’s failed 4 times now (to download, not to install because can’t get that far.)

Same WiFi and location of devices as always. This has never happened once before.

Rebooted iPhone but something is wonky. Expecting failure 5 any second now.

Update: it seems to be downloading on 5th attempt.

Update 2: Went from 20 hours to 12 hours remaining after about 15 minutes. Total download usually takes about 10 minutes.
