So an RC next week and 14.5 with the new iPad(s) released the week of 3/29?
ah, yes, this. in my earlier post I was conflating the even next week with product arrivals. you're right, next week RC with pre-orders on Friday 3/25; then, the following drop 14.5 on 3/31, the Wednesday before the delivery of the new products

I wonder how many times I have to say “Apple Music” when Siri asks which app I want to use to listen to music. It’s going on 10+ times.

I’ve never been able to download beta and non beta updates over 5G or LTE data. I’ve always had to use a wifi connection.
I think they added that capability late 2020, but I doubt it's available everywhere.

Has this update resolved the issue of slide to answer not working? When I get a call I have to tap to answer.

Can anyone report if Pokemon GO is working with this beta?
Pokemon GO v. 1.169.0 just showed up in the App Store. Thanks!

5 betas for a "." release.
14.5 has so many changes that normally would be reserved for a brand new OS.
Might want to hold off installing this one until the dust settles

Did it fix the grey glow? Oled behaving like lcd? Don’t have green tint but have this glow in black background. Please someone reply? Did it got fixed in ios 14.5

Yay, finally a way to ease the hassles of faceID and masks....

Coming out just as ever more folks are vaccinated and the need for masks lessens.

Woulda been a lot more handy a few months ago.

Looks like a lot of good stuff, not just the privacy / don't track me feature that I am really looking forward to.

And I don't mind extra beta releases, if needed. Take the extra time to get it right - after a few months, people will remember the quality of the release, not how many beta releases there were.

Well, OK, until the next round of betas and people compare the number of releases for each beta release...

Can we get a fix for the wireless charging that's been promised since November? I'd like to use my wireless charging with my 12 Pro max.

iOS 14.5 includes a Waze-like crowdsourcing feature for reporting accidents, hazards, and speed checks along a route in Maps when getting directions. There's a new "Report" button available in the Apple Maps app that lets you tap to report an accident, hazard, or speed trap at your location in the Apple Maps app, which is a feature that mapping app Waze offers. This is available directly on the iPhone and in CarPlay.

Have any folks in the US using this Beta actually seen the "Report button"?

The notes said this would be available in the UK but we haven't seen the report button over here as of yet.
