If only there was a way to get rid of the annoying 1 badge on settings icon.

I don't want iOS 15

Well it’s still available, so the badge works great

Have they brought back the "Notify When Left Behind" opton for the watch. Since they removed it, I often leave my watch on the charger when I leave home. I used to get pinged on my phone and I could swing back to get it. Now it's removed.
No, option is not available. Would be nice thoug

This is the first iOS release I genuinely experienced lots of bugs in (my first was iOS 13).
"Regular" ass iPhone 13 128GB here.

FLAC support is either nonexistent or limited to the "files" app, which isn't a very good music player IMHO.

Another macrumors forum member suggested converting FLAC files to ALAC, that is one solution. Another is using a third-party media player app that supports FLAC. "VOX" and "Lossless+" are two iOS apps I've used in the past to play FLACs. I don't know if they've been updated to work well under iOS 15 but it's worth taking a look.

I prefer FLAC to ALAC because it's compatible with more systems and media players, DACs that people connect to their stereos, etc. So I'd rather leave my FLACs as FLACs. Because FLAC and ALAC files take a lot of space, I'd rather not have two sets, one in ALAC for Apple devices and one in FLAC for just about every other device.
I also use Vox. It’s fine imo. Also File Browser and music streamer app works pending where your music permanently resides. I’d rather find or buy an app than transcode all my high-resolution files as well.

I could play flac files 2 betas ago but the 2 latest betas have a bug where it won’t play .flac files and gets stuck at 0:00

Problem: Video issues. When watching, if I pause, the Apple TV app grey-screens and I have to quit the app completely, relaunch the app, and relaunch what I was watching. Playback position is maintained. But a little annoying when the last bit of “Arcane” was particularly exciting!

Solution: pee less, I guess; but I’m in my fifties and my bladder ain’t what it once was. Back in a sec….

Auto-brightness is fixed (iPhone13 pro).

Had to toggle it off>on in Accessability but seems fine now.

?

I wish the following bugs I consider “major” have been fixed in beta 4. Both were reported to Apple Local Support:

1. Tagged notes disappear in the notes on iCloud..com (simply not showing, I trust the items had been sync though);

2. On my SE2020, setting to take photos in HEIC (high efficient mode), the photos taken in portrait mode shown in Photo App as HEIC, but actually they are JPEG (save to File App and check the file info would show JPEG format, upload the photo files to private cloud (e.g. QNAP NAS) or Dropbox would reveal they are actually in JPEG. On the other hand, the bigger sizes also hint they are not the high efficient HEIC.) QNAP support told me that the issues would only happen to their test phone SE2020,not 11, 12.

I would say the latter bug is quite “serious” as it is kind of breaching “false statement” that Photo App fools the users they had stored the image in high efficient format but actually not. for me, i used to back up all photos from mobile to NAS and now i realized the backup photos (taken in portrait mode) are in much bigger size JPEG formats!

Beta 4 seems solid sans Siri periodically coming on when I wake the phone from the side button. This seems to be software related as it never happens when putting phone to sleep when side button is pressed again.

Apple did respond to me saying the auto-brightness bug was fixed. Glad to see they fixed a bug they caused on beta 3. :D

I hope they fix the battery drain fix on old iPad Pro.
iPadOS 15.1 is REALLY DISASTROUS!!
This is helpful. Already getting disappointing battery performance on my 9.7 iPad Pro with 14.8.1. I shudder to think how it would do on iOS 15.

I hope they fix the storage calculation mess for Photos
What does that bug do?

The reason I ask is because I’m still on iOS 14.8.1 and considering upgrading when iOS 15.2 is released, but don’t want to do so if there are bugs in Photos.

boas
alguém sabe se resolveu a descarga da bateria desde o ios 15.1 ,tenho um 13 Pro Max.
