Only annoyance has been GMail having swipe lag just after opening, but haven't done much with 4 yet. And I forgot to see if they fixed the cosmetic weather widget bug where the rain% is too big and collides with the circle.
I haven’t seen that move in weeks. But maybe because I’m in south Texas.

I can't even install the beta. I select the IPSW in iTunes but then I get a message saying that I need to update iTunes to the latest version in order to install iOS 16 on my iPhone.

I Googled for solutions on what I can do about this message, but I only get a bunch of Apple support pages telling me I can no longer use Windows 7 or 8 since they are outdated... this is absolutely useless, since I am using Windows 11. What gives?

Apple has not yet updated iTunes to support the installation of iOS 16. I use 3utools for it, because in version 2.61 released recently they added support for installing iOS 16.

Interesting, thank you I will have to check that out. I’m not sure why apple even bothered releasing IPSWs if there is no official way to even use them

That makes a lot sense. I was struggling with why it would be useful for someone with a credit card.
I would work the same as services like Affirm. It would just charge your card over time. But I guess that could be pointless since that is how a CC already works.

The IPSW files do work on the Mac (you do this in Finder now instead of iTunes), so they are actually useful. Apparently the iTunes updates are lagging on Windows then if this is the case.

Ahh I see, thank you for the explanation. A bit disappointing but not surprising. iTunes is beyond neglected in this day and age, only a matter of time before they take away the ability for us to manage and backup our devices locally altogether…
