Apple today seeded the fourth beta of an upcoming macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update to developers, less than one week after seeding the third beta and just over two weeks after releasing the macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 update.

The new macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center or through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store with the proper profile installed.

It's not yet clear what improvements the second major update to macOS High Sierra will bring, but it's likely to include bug fixes and performance improvements for issues that weren't addressed in macOS High Sierra 10.13.1.

No significant new features were discovered in the first three betas of macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, but we'll update this post should notable changes be found in the fourth beta.

The previous update, 10.13.1, introduced fixes for some serious security flaws and brought new emoji to the macOS operating system.

Update: Apple has also made the fourth macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta available for public beta testers.

My retina MBP 15 inch core i7 8 GB RAM is incredibly slow when running some apps such as Photoshop cc or sometimes Safari.
To me High Sierra feels like it doesn't do a good job with handling the memory as Sierra was doing.

I am hoping to see a some advancing on the field from High Sierra - after all they were promising under the hood improvements.

If the Beta wouldn't collect so many logs I would probably try it but I am sick and tired of Betas.

My USB 3 External Hard Disk get so slow when mounted and slows down all the system to point I have to turn off the computer and detach the USB cable.

I've got one attached too, no such issues here, hope you'll fix it.
One thing I can think of and makes the OS unresponsive is a dying Hard Disk, had that too once, so you might check that disk, hope it's ok though.

Sounds like a failing disk.

The worked fine in Sierra or if I BootCamp Windows 10, I have 3 external drives on which the two USB 3 shows that behavior and the USB 2 for Time Machine is working fine. I have read how this is fixed but I am hopping Apple to provide the fix. This happens at the moment I finished the High Sierra installation, and I wonder if people having installation problems, unresponsive or extra slow, are due to have the USB 3 devices connected.

[doublepost=1510871795][/doublepost]USB3 drive and SD card work now after update. So far so good...

That's the new expected behavior
Who in the world would expect the play/pause key to continue to be tied to Safari videos rather than iTunes music ***after*** you close not only the tab which had the video playing, but Safari itself? Because right now I can Cmd-Q Safari and the play/pause button becomes useless. iTunes doesn't exist to it.

They've gone and utterly ruined it.

Apple has blockheads working for them in the OS development/design/QA department. That's the only thing that can attributed to this mess.

I'm so glad I decided not to install High Sierra until the final update is released some time mid-2018.
