Not if you have HomePods and enjoy how fast HomeKit is. iOS 15 ruined that and Apple has never fixed it.
I don't have a HomePod to worry about... I have a spare iPhone 6s that was previously on iOS 13.4/iOS 13.4.1 [can't remember which one] that I updated to iOS 15.3 Developer beta 1 which I was about to update to iOS 15.3 RC if not for the hardware issue it has [could be motherboard issue]... I'm tempted to update my iPhone 7 Plus but since it is my main phone I'm just gonna keep it on iOS 14.8

I really didn’t find 15 a meaningful upgrade anyway. Can’t even tell you a single new feature or benefit. Stick with 14 and see how 16 looks at WWDC.

anyone else find their ios 15 is really laggy and slow, when I take a photo it won't even show up in my library until about 5-10 seconds later

This is happening on my 13 mini and wifes 13 pro

I really hope that Carplay is finally, finally fully fixed. I never had any problems with it under iOS 14 (or before), and since iOS 15, the Apple Music App just won't run anymore. And with every update they declare Carplay is now fixed and every time it's a disappointment again. Even with 15.2.1. I mean: What is the point of Carplay without the music app? And when I think about what it cost to get my car to have Carplay... because I really wanted it. And now it just doesn't work (properly) and somehow that seems to be way down the priority list. If only I could go back to iOS 14...
Well: We'll see what 15.3 brings.

Mine just wouldn’t play audio at all yesterday and I nearly lost it with the phone and the car. Usually when that happens I tap the car’s radio button and then back to CarPlay but it just wouldn’t do it. Rebooted the phone and everything. Eventually started working.

I’m so fed up with modern software just being so half-baked. We pay good money for these things and they are unfinished most of the time.

I hope the public release for IOS 15.3 comes out soon. I've been having geofencing issues ever since updating to IOS 15 in general. Apple forums that are testing the 15.3 beta say geofencing issues are fixed so, fingers crossed.

I finally upgraded to iOS 15 this week after holding out. I put 15 on my iPad and the icon layout situation is a dumpster fire. I finally did some research and yep, you can't even tell the difference from 14 to 15 on the iPhone. ;)

(I bit the bullet after that security updates on 14 are done news story came out.)

My CarPlay doesn’t work, just a frozen screen, audio plays though. Restart fixed it for a bit then back to freezing. Seems this update broke CarPlay.

Well I’ll be skipping this update then as I rely on CarPlay for guidance as the VW system is a bit rubbish and the voice does my head in. Thanks for the warning ?

Welcome, but I would like to confirm if it’s just me or if it indeed the update broke it. At very least I can listen to the music on the way to work.
