is this the version with the live updates added? Or whatever Apple is calling it. I just want to be able to see where my Uber is without having to get into my phone :p

I have the choice to install now or wait...
Mmmm... Tempting... tempting...
Already installed macOS Ventura RC on one of my MBPs already running the betas and it's been good so far.
My only concern is that Memory Allocation known issue. If it affects certain apps I need to run on my iPad, I'll be doomed until a fix is released.
And I would imagine that all those deprecated calls have been already handled by the developers.

Okay so now that this is the RC, please correct me if i am wrong. I can download the beta profile and 16.1. Monday for public release, i can simply delete the beta profile from phone and go on normally with 16.1 and it was as if i never had the beta profile, yes? Thanks all.

Unless they issue another release candidate, which they have done before, yes.

Still not showing up on my 14, maybe nothing changed since the last Dev update?

Still crap, when you switch Safari tabs on the iPad, the content first is blurry then becomes sharp.
Look at the fonts while switching.

Stage manager is kinda neat most likely won’t use it much on this iPad Pro 4th gen

The way I do it, once the final release comes out, I delete the profile. If the final release is newer than this RC, it will be installed.

This is accurate. If you've installed the RC Build and then removed the Beta Profile, if a newer build is released as "official", you'd get it because it'd still be a higher build number. Otherwise you're on the official release at that point anyway...

****, iPad os RC 5th 12.9 bootloop on update. Reinstall update throw MacBook with the same build doesn't help

Never noticed that before, but I see it now. Installing 16.1 RC now and will test as well.

I was thinking of upgrading the 6th gen iPad but there's a possible slowdown so it will stay on iPadOS 13.7 and for the 9th gen was about to upgrade as well but I'll just stay with iPadOS 15.x since it is the release version that came with it and I have not seen any new feature that would be useful for me... I might upgrade in the future when forced by app compatibility...

Worst update ever.
I have two IPads. An Air 4 and an Air5. Both on the Beta program since the beginning, no problem whatsoever.

Today the 4 updated just fine, the 5 rebooted after updating, got stuck on the logo, and then entered a boot loop. Had to restore via Mac and the strangest things is that, the first time I restored with the computer and used an iCloud back up, once it booted, got stuck again! Had to restore yet again via computer, and this time did a direct transfer from my Air 4. Now seams fine. Typing on it. Definitely the worst upgrade ever and I have been a beta tester for years. First time this has happened. Apparently on Reddit more people are having the same issue. All on IPad only.

Anyone on IP14P Dev able to send more then 3 or 4 images using Imessage without crashing? Mine is doing this and i have soft and hard reset and still getting it to crash!

I really like the new charging indicator on the island while in landscape mode (or at least is new to me)

Hopefully this fixes battery. I had amazing Battery from 16.0 Beta 2 until installing 16.0 RC, for no reason I can determine.
It your discussing iPadOS 16 RC, yes something is draining the battery on this RC that wasn't present in iPadOS 16 beta 12, in fact I can't remember it being this bad in a while.

Nah I mean iOS. I installed it on my iPhone with the second developer beta, and had rock solid battery all the way until 16.0 GM/RC. I'm not sure what the last beta number before 16.0 RC was, but it was the last one where I had tolerable battery. 16.0.2 and 16.0.3 didn't do anything for me.
