Nope not true, people are already saying that the bugs they had on beta 3 are still there and not fixed. They said this rc only fixed background things.

I haven't installed it, so I don't know how it actually runs, but a couple people in this thread alone mentioned it was running pretty well, and that's with less than 30 posts (including repeats from people). Much higher percentage of people posting positive things about updates than normal. Just try to have a little optimism once in a while. 🙂 Cheers.

iOS 18.7.3 RC is available for everyone on iOS 18 !
Be wary of the notification pop up after you request to update via the software update in system settings.

It’ll ask if you want to update. Don’t confirm it if it pops up as a notification when your phone is locked or using another app . Apple sneakily updated my phone to iOS 26 instead of 18.7.2 when I did. Still a bit pissed off about it.

Don't worry buddy, if we enable iOS 18 betas, iOS 26 will never show and you will stay on 18 !

they are pushing ios26 to my phone and I can't get rid of that stupid red icon on settings. how do you get rid of it? I want to stay on 18. I also don't see 18.7.3 either

I’ll write a couple hours in. Everything seems about the same. Battery life seems the same speediness and readiness and animation seem about the same.

My wife and I just bought a iPhone 17s and we were forced into iOS 26 as a result. All we both want to see is settings to turn off everything associated with liquid glass. What were they thinking...
As it seems they hired some 13 years old high school students being addicted to Fruit Ninja and soap bubbles and gave them free hand to do whatever they want.

i'll finally make the leap and update from iOS 18 on my 15pro. can't wait for the official release.
