yay.

I am excited to try iTunes Home Sharing, no longer would I have to sync all of my media to my devices (at least not for when I am at home).

Apple Seeds iOS 4.3 Golden Master to Developers

Apple today seeded the golden master version of iOS 4.3 to developers, paving the way for a public release of the update on March 11th.

The update is available in versions for the iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and third- and fourth-generation iPod touch, while the iPad 2 will of course also ship with iOS 4.3 installed. The build number is 8F190.

BGR last week claimed that iOS 4.3 had reached golden master status, correctly pinpointing the build number of today's release.

I really dont care that much about 4.3. Am I alone in that regard?

Will this work with Verzion iPhone?

No

I just shared the news for developers who were waiting to do final checks on their software. No links from me. Sorry.

Except it will really be nice to use Home Sharing and play music off of my laptop on my phone! I have tons more music there that I often forget to sync to my phone and sometimes want to listen to it when I am going to bed!

Any word if multi touch gestures for the iPad can still be activated in this build? I know apple said it wouldn't be part of the public release, but I'm hoping they still let devs activate the feature for testing their own apps. Fingers crossed.

I was hoping an update would fix the WiFi and performance issues created with iOS 4 on my 2nd Gen Touch. I guess they are just going to leave it this way forever. They should have at least allowed me to re-install the original iOS version it came with since they are never going to fix iOS 4.
