I had 7.1 on my 5S; crashed continually like a mofo. Ended up with a quasi-bricked phone within a few weeks. My wife and m-in-law are on 7.04 with zero known issues. My replacement phone started showing issues as soon as 7.1 went on it.

Hoping this new build clears everything up.

THANKS Apple!!!

- Calendar App is fixed: List below the month
- Option for showing buttons for clickable elements

I hope they release it son!!!

Wow, those 'buttons' are tacky and yucky... Good thing they're optional and hidden in accessibility settings.

Hopefully this fixes all the awful safari crashing. I've never seen such an unstable build from Apple in owning an iphone for 4 years or so.

Safari on beta 2 is defiantly more stable. Previously, twitter would make it crash every time. Now it works flawlessly.

There's just no pleasing some people is there? People complain about where to click, Apple add something that helps with the original problem and yet people still moan.

Yes, you're lucky they're optional, you won't have to see them ever again.

Passcode having its own bullet point right inside the settings panel is new?

did they take out the dark keyboard again? :-o also those buttons look disgusting lol glad its an OPTION i will not use

I think it'd look better if they made them look like the BUY button in App Store, i.e. a color-matched border running around them, instead of grey background.

Just a warning to non-devs who might install this:

Apple is enforcing registration of the device with beta 2!! I updated and suddenly was told I had to register the iPad in the developer portal to activate.

I did (we have an account through work) and was able to activate, but to those who are not developers you might be SOL updating to beta 2!

So don't update to Beta 2 if you don't have your device registered with a dev account. I for one think it's pretty damn sneaky for Apple to let people install Beta 1 but then enforce this on Beta 2. :(

Then they're screwed anyway because eventually it'll stop working (beta 1 that is)

Gotta say, iOS7 has given me issues with crashes.
I have had phone app crash, Safari crash, FMF crash, and FaceTime will crash every time while opening safari and doing some web surfing while on the call.

Hope it can be fixed in software - unlike adding another 1GB of RAM.

It's at least partly the meagre RAM memory that is responsible for Safari crashes / tab reloads.

This is a Beta, crashes are expected.

Next time don't run a beta if you want an unstable device! I'm willing to put up with it to try new features and know what's coming, but I know the cost.

Here you are. The animation when you pull it up is very different.

Thanks for that. Just wanted to see the visual differences.

Yes, the Touch ID & Passcode previously used to be accessed by Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode. Now it's just Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.

Yeah, to be fair, that would be a lot better. Who knows, this may change in future beta's. I remember Apple kept changing the Timer icon in Control Center.

Woohoo! This makes me really happy. Without it, Calendar has been a real chore for me to use.

This.

I get so tired of seeing people on supposed tech forums assume that problems that they are having on their individual device are "bugs". Not everything that goes wrong with your phone is a bug in the sense that software has been written poorly and needs to be adjusted.

Sometimes your data gets screwed up, sometimes you hit a page that is implemented so poorly that your browser crashes. You can't expect software to be able to handle every single edge case and random error.

I'm not saying that there aren't plenty of bugs out there, but just because you're having issues doesn't necessarily mean everyone is having them and the fewer people experiencing a problem, the harder it is to find and the less likely that it will even be addressed.

overall beta 2 feels less polished than beta 1

and I miss the dark keyboard :(
