Installing the 15 updates (through Public Betas) on my M1 iPad Pro, 12 Pro Max and Watch 5. The iPad is taking forever to download, where the iPhone ripped through the download. The iPad seems to be stuck on 2 hours estimated for the download. Hopefully this is just a high traffic related delay.

I always forget, what's the process to transition from beta back to public once the full release is out? Can I download the release candidate, then remove the beta profile? Will I then get the next public release? Thanks
At this point, why not just wait a week for the actual release?

Stuck on preparing update for awhile now... 🙁

Toggling airplane mode off/on seem to restart install.

Woohoo, I’m down to 1 hour remaining on my M1 iPad Pro update. My iPhone 12PM was super fast updating and the Watch (series 5) is slowly but surely updating (almost done preparing), which is normal. I guess I’ll get some time to play around with iPadOS 15 later tonight, assuming it actually finishes downloading today.

Yep, but the update size is usually tends to be lower with each update hinting at more polished version towards the final
It always download whole ios when switching from stable to beta and from beta to stable, and because this is RC it counts as a stable non beta release and therefore it downloads whole iOS and not just the files that have changed

iPhone 11 Pro update went great.

iPad Pro 3rd gen has now entered an unrecoverable loop after completing the upgrade.
This was an upgrade from iPadOS 14.8.
I know it’s an RC but hopefully this won’t be the final build!

UPDATE:
Did a DFU restore using IPSW and then restore from backup. Same issue.
Ended up having to set up as new.
