Apple Seeds macOS Sequoia 15.1 Release Candidate

About 12 progress bars with no time indicators, sometimes ending somewhere in the middle, 10 reboots, 20 Settings notifications after login plus opening apps that weren't open before and three relaunches of Safari later... 😑

Apple Music/TV is still 1.5.1.24 , no change.

Notice how we won't have any chance of a RC2 because nothing really changed with the RC and beta 7.

That's interesting that kernel got reverted to a slightly older revision.

Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.1 / macOS 15.1 is US English only, so you need to set your system and Siri language to English US to enable it... support for UK English and a few other English variants will be coming in 18.2 / 15.2 in December
 
I seriously hope Apple fixed the issues with Youtube notifications not being clickable. It's annoying when the notification comes up you then have to go find the video/live stream. In previous macOS versions you could click on the notification, it will take you straight to the content.

Not directly. Never got a time machine backup running to 100% even with firewall turned off, fixed mac address, no 3rd party security apps etc. Hoping the 15.1 update will fix this 💩

Same here. I always thought it's my VPN or Adguard or DNS settings until I found out it's the Firewall, what took very long. I have to allow all incoming connections or at least the two switches for automatically allow certain connections.

Normally everything worked with all incoming connections blocked. I'll try that again now.
 
Don't know if this is new to the latest update but Intelligence is now also working without changing the region settings, at least in Germany. Only the language has to be English (US) what I use anyway.
