So has anyone actually gotten PB2 with the build number shown earlier? Or are we chasing ghosts here? ;)
  • iOS 16.1 beta 2 (20B5050f) - September 20, 2022

Hope it fixes:

Overheating.
Abysmal battery life.
Safari white screen.
UI lag.
Not being able to add links to my reading list.

Hope it fixes the overheating on my max pro
I’m having major issues with my 14 Pro Max overheating. Plus, my Music Library still isn’t finishing its initial sync, leaving a portion of my Music Library unavailable on my iPhone.

iPhone 13 Pro Max with IOS 16, Photos on iMac won’t import even previous images!!
Comes up with error message!!
Was fine with IOS 15, hope they’ll address this issue, is no single case!! Very annoying!!

As of this morning, my iPad Pro (2018) on this latest beta is no longer charging when connected to my Mac mini. I'm using the same Apple Branded USB-C cable I've been using, and even tried another cable. If I can find the power supply I'll try just plugging it in, but so far a reboot hasn't helped.

My iPhone 13 screen is significantly dimmer after a restart with this beta and the last. Anyone else? Have tried toggling Accessibility>Auto-Brightness on and off.

UPDATE: Never mind. I had experimented with some settings, and forgot I was trying out "Low Light" Zoom filter.

It's 11am MDT, still no sign of Public Beta 2. Anyone else actually got Public Beta 2 yet?

Safari often hangs on random pages, cleared the browser cache but still the same issue.
This and previous beta are far from stable, using it on my M1 Pro. Stage Manager just hangs and crashes, need to force restart my iPad

Furthermore, if you have a Magic Keyboard connected to your M1 iPad Pro, then it’s a mess of all things. You are correct, the last two betas for iPad have been challenging to work with.

Yes! Also have a Magic Keyboard connected. Very often i can not type or use the Space bar, pressing it and nothing happens.
Today while watching Netflix, the iPad crashed and i needed to force a soft restart with the buttons. This happens with random apps, also with the default apps from Apple, like Photos.
But it’s still beta, i reported the issues :) . Will patiently wait until the final release

Seems like some of the mouse gestures aren't working. If I push the mouse up into the top right corner, it doesn't pull control centre down anymore. Nor does it go back to the home screen if I drag the mouse down into the bottom of the screen.

When doing my morning software update check, and error came up looking like the dynamic island on iPhone 14 pros, and in it said nothing to paste, could this be a early sign that iPad Pro models will adapt a dynamic island/ to slim down the bezels?

click on the image, look on top.

Very interesting. I hope this means there is going to be a camera that is in the centre in landscape mode.
