I'm so glad Mountain Lion is still getting love!

Safari 6.2 has a broken Javascript. Relating to some sites or reply boxes to spinning beachballs to it permanently hung with blank white web pages. So you have to restart Safari. Regularly.

I wish they wouldn't have shelved the Windows version.

IE is a piece of crap.
Firefox is what I use, but it seems like a RAM hog.
Chrome... just... no. **** YOU, GOOGLE.

Apple... pwetty pwease?

After using Chrome on OS X for so long... Chrome on Windows feels just plain weird. Weird enough for me that I decided to just use IE on my virtual machine.

I'll be one of the 3 people that miss Windows Safari.

Tried using Safari (7.0.3) this week, not using it any more. Why? I installed all the ad blockers available but nothing will stop ads in flash video, which are, for me, intolerable. Also, when I close a tab and want to open another immediately, Safari instantly resizes all the tabs so I have to do a nervous jitterbug mouse pointer dance to get to the ‘new tab’ icon, which would’ve been in place otherwise (as it is with Opera, for example). Finally, the so-called Top Sites are in a constant state of flux. If the app is not full screen the thumbnail images can be narrow and bad to look at. I want a set of sites there that I can quickly peruse and use, and that is constant and arranged by me, not arbitrarily by the browser. So I continue to use Opera, the best browser out there right now. No Google Chrome spying paranoia, no Firefox kiddy nonsense etc., the list goes on.

Why are you using Flash when you could be using the ClickToFlash extension and set it to use HTML5. I don't have Flash installed unless I use Chrome.

I was reading the MR front page. Saw on the side that there was an update, brought up app store and did the update, started Safari and it came up with the MR website loaded (I hate that) which said the certificate for MR was invalid. Make of that what you will.

I solved this problem by getting rid of my windows machine. Safari really works well on my Apple. Just in case you have an argument, my sister said she needed a windows computer for some software required at work. I convinced her to get an apple and just used Parallel or bootcamp for that one application. She is very happy now.

Haha... I hear you there. I miss my MacBook Pro. Gotta use a Windows machine for now though. Times are tough, you know!

Safari sucked on Windows, why would you want it on there?

We should be able to delete history without deleting the other data, I hope Apple is going to change that.
Safari also doesn't work very well with some extensions from their own app store-that shouldn't be an issue.

Some sites use flash that can't be converted to html 5 by clicktoflash

Believe me, you are not alone. Usually, when I use Windows it's in a virtual machine, but I still miss Safari. Up until about a year ago I still use Safari five, but I finally had to stop that.

i agree Adblock and Clicktoflash suck
delete flash player
try alone Ghostery it's ok

OK, I will try ghostery alone, I used to use it but i don't remember it blocking ads.
I can try deleting flash as well but some sites will only use flash, is there a substitute for click to flash that lets you download videos?

Clcktoflash work without flash installed
and is you need flash for some website , you can use Chrome

I don't know if that will help the issue since clicktoflash seemed to slow things down more than flash alone

try Clicktoflash without Flash Player installed and you will see...
Adblock for sure make slow thing down ( delete it )
Clicktoflash + Ghostery seemed the best way for Safari

Thanks, I deleted flash and just have clicktoflash and ghostery installed. I'll test it out for a couple of days and report back

*sigh* people still think this is funny?

For reasons I don't understand..

Good news... :)
Safari definitely seems snappier now with this update

Yes.

Can someone explain to me why they feel to make the same, tired, identical joke in any topic related to Safari? Seriously, explain to me. Like I'm five.

One of the greatest marks of being unfunny is repeating something someone else has said over and over.

That said, I happily use Firefox 33.1

Ghostery works ok although it can't remove adverts on videos on Youtube.

If you remove Adblock Plus and want to get rid of the ads on YouTube, amend your hosts file to include the following...

127.0.0.1 ads.youtube.com s0.2mdn.net s1.2mdn.net googleads.g.doubleclick.net pubads.g.doubleclick.net ad.doubleclick.net static.doubleclick.net
