Seriously, the last person I'd believe is some web/blog/tabloid hack who thinks he's got the inside scoop. Credibility doesn't run high among that lot.

I don't know where this story came from, but this update has not been posted to the dev site anywhere that I can find. Still shows the last update from 9/11

+1 Paying $99 is easy, finding the build is apparently pretty tough for some.
There is nothing new on my developer account. I don't know where you found this new build, but it certainly isn't on the developer site.

I found it installed it - nothing major to report.
Can you then post the link? It will only work for the ones having a developer account, so there is no harm in posting it.
To those wishing the release of the GM, it's not going to happen until the media event as per usual. The Developer Seed of the Gold Master candidate is always released at the media event, after a brief demo and grand announcement that it'll be available to "everyone in October, and we're releasing a developer seed today".
Now scroll all the way down and click on all downloads, then select Mac OSX form the right.
