It is better for Apple to release the features that they know are stable and actually work, rather than rush features out the door in a day 0 release that will only just end up requiring a billion updates to fix just to appeal to a minority.

What I'm saying is, it's a good thing Apple didn't rush Apple Intelligence's features out with the 18.0 release. Features will arrive when they arrive. It's not like you're somehow going to die if you don't have them.
We went 17 years worth of iPhones without these "intelligence" features. Now people are dooming and glooming because its not being rolled out all at once. You will survive without them for a few more months people, I promise.

Apple Music/TV is still 1.5.2.56

Looks like hardly any changes really from Beta 4 seeding, just waiting for feedback during long break until the end of this week to issue all the RC's.

Also there has never been a version of iOS (outside of 1.0 and 6.0) to launch with every feature announced.
Even under Jobs, iOS 2, 3, 4 and 5 all launched with delayed or pre-announced for a later date features.
And iOS 6, while technically launching with every promised feature, also brought Apple Maps, which lead to their iOS head literally being fired.
Sometimes later is better than never, or frightningly and dangerously too early.

Am I right that all the features listed in this article (Image Playground, Image Wand, Genmoji, Visual Intelligence, Siri ChatGPT Integration, and Writing Tools) are "Apple Intelligence" features?

If so, are there any features for non-Apple Intelligence phones?
Yes and No

Hope watchOS 11.2 will be released at the same time, next week presumably, have noticed higher battery drain on my U2 over the past few weeks

It's unfortunate that ChatGPT has been **** lately. Paying $20 monthly, only to ask a few questions each month....and wait sometimes 2 minutes for a response. Very unimpressive. Hopefully other options soon...

Email still broken. I get a notification, sometimes if I tap on it, it goes to the email directly. Most times if I tap the notification, it’ll go to the inbox and freeze. After about 6 seconds, it’ll unfreeze and then I can read the email. I don’t remember when it started, but it worked fine on 18.0. Maybe it has something to do with Apple Intelligence.

By some of your comments appears that ios 18 is gonna remain buggy all its lifetime. Wonder if i should update to ios 18.2 or stay with ios 17 and wait for ios 18.3, sigh.

I still don't have a phone that supports AI, so I guess until I get new hardware I am just updating for security features and for fun.

iPadOS updated from 17.7 to 18 beta and feels more stable. I know sick.

I don’t get the red badges anymore when I get emails. Seems like it’s still happening. Even after a reboot of the iPhone. It’s definitely annoying.

To me the Mac releases are more interesting. I'm betting at this point more people have Macs capable of the new features than iPhones.

Maybe it's just me. But the M1 Macs have been available longer, and at lower price points in some cases.

Only the people that bought the Pro phone last year or any current new iPhone in the last few months, vs most Macs since this time in 2020.

Can we get multiple user spaces? would be nice to have completely separate spaces. limit the feature to 512gb devices so it's an upsell - everyone wins - apple gets the extra money they want, users get the privacy they want
